A once TOP family run company turns to Crap! I have used this company in the distant past for hurricane windows & doors but this time the service is ABSOLUTELY horrible! I have tried to deal with several of the people in the office. They ALL are very nice but are COMPLETELY useless in terms of getting my order correct. I am not sure if anyone else had/has a similar experience BUT I am 100% done with this company and tell my neighbors (we all have multimillion dollar waterfront properties) to stay clear of Garcia Door & Window. I am very impressed with Garcia! As I have posted on other reviews, Larry S. and I are professional landlords / property managers. We are always looking for a good partner on our projects, which in Miami is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Garcia is one of the few vendors we've encountered that actually values our business. We have been trying to install impact windows in all of the properties we manage. We probably spent about a year unsuccessfully trying to make this project happen before a neighbor recommended Garcia. One thing to note is that Garcia is a distributor of Lawson windows. They don't take measurements or do the installation for you. However, they will provide you with a lot of advice and feedback if you have questions about window sizes, the different styles of windows and doors, egress requirements, etc, etc. They are family owned and operated and have been in business for nearly 50 years. It's obvious that they truly care about their customers. We wanted to order windows for several properties before a price increase takes effect for 2021. They worked with us until 9PM on a Friday night to accommodate our order. Installing windows is a pretty big financial undertaking. There is a large upfront cost for the materials, and it can be a little unsettling to fork over several thousand dollars and then wait for 6-8 weeks for delivery. Family owned business with Great Costumer service and prices! They go above and beyond to earn your business. And now Zero stars for their preferred installer Fernando. The family recommended an Installer by the name of Fernando - i should have seen the red flag when I called several times within a few days and he did not answer but when Garcia called Fernando he answered their call on the first call (leading Garcia to believe that he is responsible and deserves the business they are recommending to him) well, he is NOT!!! After a visit to my home Fernando quoted me 450/500 on door install, after a few weeks of waiting on him (calling and texting back and forth) to have the time - he finally has the time but now he has raised his price to 700.00!!!! Like huh? Extremely upset that i have wasted all this valuable time waiting for this installer to then up his price by 200 +. UNREAL! read more

What a great company. We bought our house and the previous owner purchased the Windows from Garcia Doors and Windows. When we moved in we found that there was a small installation problem. Garcia did not do the install but referred me to an installer who did the Windows. He came out and fixed the issue, went around and adjusted all of the Windows and didn't charge anything. Two of the screens were bent a bit. I took them to Garcia's and they fixed them for free. All of this was past the 1 year warranty period. Elizabeth is wonderful and the owner is an honorable businessman. Our windows are impact and great. I saw the pricing and they were much less than I paid when I bought my Windows from another company. How refreshing. read more
