Absolute WORST Choice. If you want quality work done in a timely manner by a professional, reputable company, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Three years later, they still have not completed the job at my house and the work is poorly done. When my order was delivered, windows and doors were wrong sizes and wrong style. It has been three years and they still are not finished with the job. One of my windows popped out during Hurricane Irma. ThankfuIly, we were not in the home. One star is more than the company deserves. Since day one I have had trouble with them contacting me back. The estimates I received did not have detailed information. I worked with one person and it was an ok experience but it went down hill. Not return my calls and having to keep contacting them for information is the norm. I had to call to find out the person I worked with was let go. I have two associations. I needed a document for the second one and called everyday after Christmas only to find out in my last call to them they were closed for the week. No recording advising of such no auto response in the email. Nothing. The last call to them asking for a notice of approval they called me back to tell me my estimate was only good for 30 days and the price would increase. Not once did anyone tell me that, it was not written on the estimate, and they didn't even have the courtesy to contact me after the person I worked with was no longer there. That means they didn't care enough about my business. Needless to say I was less than happy and the owner has not called me back or replied to my email. I work for quality assurance and this is by far the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. Also, when I called them and spoke to the one woman in English she kept talking Spanish. That means she understood me. Food for thought; if a customer is talking to you in English, speak to them in English. If not, have the decency to find some one who can speak English. Yes I can speak Spanish but I should not have to conform to the language you are speaking as a customer and when doing business I prefer English. Here in Florida selling impact windows should be a walk in the park for the customer as we are no strangers to hurricanes but not with this company. 1 star is a high score for these folks. Extremely unprofessional customer service. Installers damaged windows during installation and never came back to retouch them. The process started 10/2017, first install 1/2018, unfinished job still @ 6/2018. Stay away from this terrible company and save yourself an unwanted headache. read more

I was recommend this company by a friend who had used them and spoken highly of them, however he had worked directly with the owner. For this reason I overlooked the extremely unprofessional and subpar service I was given by my project manager at the start assuming it would get better. 4 weeks in all we have done is measure widows. I contacted the owner who promised to do something about it that same day. Still nothing happened. We eventually decided to cancel the project with them. Wrote a letter, left a VM and texted the owner...the face of the company, the example setter to his subordinate project managers, and still nothing. Extremely unprofessional. In the 2 days that have passed since then I have gotten my windows measured twice, have signed a contract with the contractor we decided to go with who is currently ordering our windows and securing the permits. The way business should be done. Impact glass costs too much for typical Miami subpar customer service. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. read more

BE WARNED. I see that there were four reviews for them, and two gave them 1 star out of five. I agree with the person who wrote that 1 star is too much. The windows they installed in my house have been leaking since they installed them and have caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage. The owner of South Windows, Michael, said he would make things right. After failing to show up for two appointments with no notice, he finally came with his incompetent staff. Then after months of not showing up for scheduled appointments, they tried to fix the problems and after they failed, then sent me a guy by the name of Justo who did not speak a word of English, and said I needed to pay him $4,000 to waterproof a few walls and balcony of my house. They washed their hands of the problem, claiming it was a structural problem, claiming that it was pure coincidence that the leaks were by the windows they installed. I hired a professional contractor to re-grade the balcony, waterproof all the walls and floors, and the window leaks persisted. The contractor is sure it's the windows. I called South Windows back, and they said that they won't fix the problem, and the owner, Michael, won't respond to any of my calls or emails. So if you want a TOTAL NIGHTMARE on your hands, this is the company to hire. As unprofessional companies go, this one wins the prize. read more
