Before the appointment, the receptionist collected all of my personal information and I waited a full week for the consultation. When the day came, it was not with an attorney. It was a random call center representative who did not ask detailed questions about my case and did not seem to understand the specifics. Instead, he gave broad, unrealistic assurances and promised a positive outcome without properly evaluating anything. When I asked when I would actually speak to an attorney or who would be handling my case, I was told that the "admissions team" would meet with me for an hour only after I signed a contract and paid additional fees. When I asked if any attorney was available, I was told I could "trust the legal assistants." This felt misleading and unprofessional. Charging $150 for what is essentially a sales call is not what I expected from a law office. The experience felt shady and more focused on securing payment than providing real legal advice.
