My review is a little late since my case with Empire Law almost 2 summers ago. But alas, I am a procrastinator to a fault but here it is: I needed help with my citizenship case and I was very nervous about the whole process. With my record, I was worried about getting my application denied or worse. As an immigrant, that "worse" scenario can be life altering. I've mentioned I'm a procrastinator, well, it's worse when I'm anxious about something so I put it off even more. Jonathan urged and finally convinced me to go through with it and so I did. He reassured me throughout the entire process that everything would work out just fine and he was not wrong! We found Jonathan Mendoza through Yelp, and he was the third and last attorney we sat down with when we were shopping for lawyers. He made us feel at ease in that he clearly explained the different paths that we would potentially have to go through. Our case relates to Immigration law and it's a difficult case since we received a letter of intend to deny from USCIS. Even the attorney helped us to write the explanation to USCIS didn't want to deal with my case and found a reason to refuse taking my husband and I case. A friend of mine gave me Jonathan's assistant. Having no positive thoughts but we gave us a try to call her, and it turns out that we found an amazing attorney ever. My husband and I were scheduled to our 3rd interview on September. Jonathan and his assistant spent 4hrs to do the mock interview and gave us advice on most of the questions we might be asked. Note that my husband is a very shy guy and he never feels comfortable communicating with strangers, especially with USCIS officer, who always pushes pressure on us on every interview.
