Great Doctor who gives treatment options but still supports your decision. Couldn't be more happy with Dr. Garcia!

It was always crowded, super long wait and I barely understood the doctor. I finally took matters into my own hands, looked online and found Alohi Clinic. Although I can't speak from first hand experience with the appointment, my other half had no complaints. But what I can say is booking online was easy for me and when I had to adjust times, calling was just as easy. There is a code to get into the building, which they give you, and the waiting area is a good space nice cool and quiet. They offer services like facials, hair removal, etc. but they also are an internal medicine practice so you can come for normal PCP stuff. It's pretty great. The wait is quick, the front desk is friendly and the office is clean. So far it's been great with this clinic and I'm glad we found it.

It's been…read morea long time since we've had a primary care doctor, and I didn't realize how much I was missing that sense of genuine care until now. From our very first visit, Dr. Coelho made us feel completely at ease. He's incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, but what really stands out is the way he takes his time to explain everything clearly -- not just the "what," but the "why." You never feel rushed or like just another appointment on the schedule. There's something about the care he provides that feels personal and comforting -- almost like being "at home." That's hard to put into words, but it truly makes a difference. For the first time, I can honestly say I'll never dread going to see my primary care doctor again. If you're looking for a physician who combines professionalism, compassion, and genuine connection, I can't recommend Dr. Coelho at Alohi Clinic enough.

Luckily, this doctor that I'm writing a review on took in patients with this type of insurance. Not many doctors did or still do. Well, I really didn't like her even when I went to her under my mom's insurance. I stayed with her because she was a familiar face who is near my mom's working place. Throughout my visits, I've noticed that she became less caring. I feel like she's more into money rather than actually trying to help patients. Even my mom agrees. The past few visits, I've noticed that she didn't listen to what I had to say. After every visit, I felt frustrated. I also began not trusting her. I know, i know, why didn't I leave a long time ago? I should have but she was there and she was the only one that I knew who took in my insurance. Anyway, today, I decided to visit her so that she can refer me to a dermatologist. I have a skin tag that is painful when touched. So this is what she tells me. Doc: "Do you know how hard it will be to find a dermatologist who accepts QUEST? That's a lot of hard work and I don't have time to search for one." Me: "Okay, so what do I do?" Doc: "What I want you to do is buy duct tape, if you don't have, and put a piece of duct tape on the skin tag. Pull it like you would if you were waxing" Me: "Okay....." and in my head I thought "is she *swear* crazy? I am not going to *swear* rip my skin tag with duct tape. What a *swear* lazy doctor" Doc:" I'm not gonna refer you to a dermatologist until you try it and it doesn't work" REALLY? REALLY? WTFudge! All I have to say is BUH BYE!

I rarely leave reviews like this, which makes this even more disappointing to write…read more Dr. Arakawa has been our children's doctor for the last 9 years, and he is truly exceptional. Both of my daughters love him. He is intelligent, compassionate, patient, thorough, and has the kind of bedside manner that makes families feel safe and cared for. We have trusted him for nearly a decade and have recommended countless people to this practice because of the incredible care HE provides. Which is exactly why the behavior from his office staff today was so shocking and infuriating. I received a phone call threatening collections over a bill that I had ALREADY communicated multiple times would be paid at our next appointment in just a few weeks. Not ignored. Not refused. Communicated. Yet instead of being treated like a loyal, long-term patient and human being, I was treated like a problem. What made it even worse was the complete lack of compassion, accountability, and professionalism from the office manager. The office blamed the billing company. The billing company stated the office makes the decision. Back and forth, finger pointing, excuses, while speaking to patients with absolutely zero empathy. Healthcare offices need to remember that patients are not account numbers. We are families. We are people who have supported your practice for YEARS. People who trusted you enough to recommend friends, family, and loved ones into your care. To be spoken to in a cold, dismissive, and threatening manner over a balance that was already being handled felt incredibly disrespectful and honestly dehumanizing. Dr. Arakawa deserves a staff that reflects the kindness, professionalism, and humanity that he shows his patients every single day, because right now the front office experience is damaging the reputation of an otherwise amazing doctor.

100% Discriminated at Wee Pediatric!!…read more I was looking for a new PCP for my granddaughters. I called Wee Pediatric, they were accepting new patients, schedule them for their appointments but I needed to change their PCP on the medical card. They were foster kids but now I have legal guardianship on my granddaughters. The only one can change their PCP is the social worker. When the social worker called to change thePCP, and Wee Pediatric realize my grandkids were foster kids, they were denied to be a patient there. The office manager exact words were, "WE DON'T TAKE FOSTER KIDS" I blew up, I ask the manager, I want it in writing why your office not accepting my grandkids. I kept on asking her to put it in writing she was ignoring my request, finally she said ok, we will considered taking your grandkids. I was trying my best not to be a "Karen" Long story short, I decided not to have my granddaughters go there. I don't want them to be where they not wanted. SHAME ON WEE PEDIATRIC OFFICE AND STAFF!

Luckily, they have Kaiser Added Choice so I can go outside of the Kaiser network. Although the Kaiser Added Choice co-pays costs a little more, I'm willing to pay the extra money for they quality service that Dr. Richard Ridao offers. Dr. Ridao has two locations: one in Ewa Beach and one in town on King Street. The hours vary for each location. He runs on a very small but friendly and efficient staff and unlike other physicians, the wait time isn't usually that long when I have an appointment. Dr. Ridao is very easy to talk to and I've had no trouble expressing my concerns with him. He's very experienced and knowledgeable and is not one of those doctors that just prescribes all types of medicine to try to help you. He will definitely use medication as an option but also helps to figure out the root of the problem how to remedy it and also try to prevent it. I definitely recommend Dr. Ridao to others and also have a few friends who use him as their physician as well.
