Cesar did excellent work in replacing a bad ignitor in our Samsung oven! I called him from an online reference in Yelp at 2:50pm. Based on my description of the issue, he said it was probably the ignitor and gave me a quote for that. I called my renter at 3:47pm to make an appointment with Caesar. At 4:34pm Cesar called me back and the oven was already working again. He sent me a photo of the bad ignitor (he was correct with his diagnosis) and a picture of the oven working while he was testing it to make sure it completely heated up. I didn't get his name but I definitely didn't think I would get my oven fixed on a saturday.i made the appointment through Yelp on Friday evening ,Mr Garcia responded and told me had a spot open for following day at 8-9am,I then said I wouldn't be available until after 1230. He then gave me a 1pm option and reserved it.he gave me an estimate based on what I told him may be the problem,he brought a universal igniter for the oven and within 30 minutes it was installed. Hired to have my Samsung washer repaired said it would take 4 weeks for the part so he offered to fix my 3 year old Maytag, he completely damaged and replaced things on it that probably did not need replacing and now it's a piece of junk. Got my money back on the original repair job, that was never done and now not only is my Samsung washer still not repaired my Maytag washer is now junk and violently moves while spinning, the outside top is what looks to be hammer marks all the way around and the tub is not the right one. Not a reliable guy. If you have a business do not go through him. I called Garcias to fix my 2 dryers for the hotel. He only fixed one but the 2nd one he fixed which later broke down. He then said he needs to order another part and made me wait for like a month and never fixed it. He would not answer my calls. Later I asked for a refund and he did not refund my money. I needed a new over the range microwave installed. After a call , I had a quick same day service so I was very pleased. After a lengthy struggle and much drilling Caesar finally managed to get microwave up. Unfortunately it's crooked. The right side is lower and that side has a large screw partially drilled into the microwave and sticking up about 1inch above the cupboard above the stove. I couldn't see it at that time because it's above my head & cupboard was closed. Further, the electrical cord for the under the counter lights is hanging down beneath the microwave. When I pointed it out to him, Caesar said he would return the following week with more tools to repair it. He has made no contact. The reality of this situation is that I would never have him work again in my home. I'll have to hire and pay a competent installer if I can find one to repair the botched installation. read more

We had an issue with our dish washing machine. I had reached out to Mr. Garcia and he was able to come out the next day to check out our machine. He arrived early and was ready to rock and roll. Upon inspection he heard the noise our machine was making and knew exactly what the problem was, something was wrong with our drain pump motor. He quickly took out our machine and found that a button from a shirt had gotten lodged in the pump! (probably one of my kids messing around!) He was thorough in his inspection after taking out the button and made sure our dish washer was in good working order before he left. He also took the time to check out an issue we've been having with our cook top stove, even giving advice when I mentioned buying a new one or having ours repaired- he even showed me how to remove the cook top and how I'd have to install a new one if we decided to go that route. Really nice guy and the fee for coming out was beyond generous. I was expecting to pay a lot more! We found Garcia's on Yelp and based on reviews decided to call. We knew our washing machine wasn't working right as the spinning and timing weren't working. The first call, the spin was corrected and on the 2nd call the timing unit was replaced. Instead of just fixing what we said the problem was, the tech should have thoroughly went over the entire machine to determine there weren't any other issues. $500 later, our machine still wasn't working right. We ended up buying a new washer/dryer set, which we should have done to begin with. My biggest complaint with Garcias was them not thoroughly checking out the entire machine the first time to give us an estimate for the repair cost of everything that was obviously wrong with it. I felt like we were being nickled and dimed and there was no way I was going to call them back for a third time. I spent 1/3 the cost of a new set trying to fix a set that was still good even though it was over 12 years old. If I were an appliance repair expert, I wouldn't have needed to call one out. When in doubt, just buy a new set. You'll save some money. read more

Today was the 5th or 6th time Cesar came to my home to repair an appliance. My wife & I are in our late 70's. Cesar, without doubt, is the best service person we've ever known -- and the most reasonable. He has repaired our refrigerator (x2), our stove (x2) & our HUGE upright freezer (x2). I called him yesterday afternoon (Friday) about the freezer, hoping to set-up a time for next week for him to check it out. It is almost 30 yrs old. Cesar added freon a few years ago. The beast is no longer freezing as it should. Cesar said he'd be here at 8 AM this morning. He was punctual. Diagnosed it needed freon topped up. Did so. I asked him to look at oven -- not holding temperature. Diagnosed problem. Needed part. He left to get part. Returned, installed. It is now 10 AM & I am writing this review. It is long overdue that I praise this man and praise his exceptional work. I learned as he was working that, in order to help us, he had sent his family on ahead of himself on their family vacation!
