I hired Garcia's Appliance by searching reviews on Yelp and I was not disappointed. My microwave door wasn't recognizing that the door was open/closed sometimes AND my whirlpool washer machine was having some issues as well. They contacted me within 24 hours and were able to diagnose both issues easily. We paid a deposit for him to purchase the necessary sensors and he got the work done within an a hour of the appointment date. Super nice guy and so far we have had no issues with his repairs. Garcia's Appliance responded quickly to my message via Yelp and was able to schedule an appointment a day or two out. I had Garcia's Appliance come out in the hopes that he would have been able to diagnose and repair my refrigerator while waiting a week for another company. My refrigerator had stopped making ice and the refrigerator was running slightly warm but the freezer was staying at the proper temp. The guy from Garcia's Appliance was not able to diagnose the problem, I explained all of the symptoms but no diagnosis. He believed that there was a possible ice blockage and suggested that I might need to let the unit thaw. I felt that there was still an issue since the freezer was at the proper temp but wouldn't make ice. Since he couldn't fix the problem, I kept my appointment with another company. The guy from the other company had the problem diagnosed within 25-30 minutes, he opened up the ice maker and showed me some fried/broken electrical contacts. Long story short, the ice maker was replaced and problem solved. Seemed like a pretty basic diagnosis and repair for a professional appliance repair person. In regards to Garcia's Appliance, maybe repair work on newer refrigerators is not his forte, based on reviews he seems to do decent work though, so in the end I was surprised that the seemingly simple problem was not dianosed. read more

Less than 30 minutes of work, and the thing was like new. We had to call him again about a month later, and he recharged the coolant same day . We needed to hook up a second-hand gas stove. They come out quickly, got into our crawl space to install new lines and move the hookup so we could center the stove on the wall, all for a super reasonable price. Promptly responded to a request and scheduled n appointment for next day. He was unfortunately delayed at a prior job and let us know he'd be a bit late. When he arrived he gave the fridge a glance at the manufacturer label and informed us that the LG fridge was still fairly new and therefore under a 5-yr warranty that I was unaware of. Cesar recommended we take advantage of said warranty and call to verify and have LG send out one of their techs out to cover a potential $1200 repair, free of charge. Let me state this is the type of transparency and honesty that you rarely find in the world nowadays. If there were more mechanics/general repair tradesmen like Cesar, this world it would be such a better place. I did in fact call and the fridge was indeed still under warranty! I am absolutely keeping Garcia's number on my fridge for any other type of appliance repair in the future and would recommend him to friends and family anytime! He set an appointment for the same afternoon to come out to look at the dryer that had began to make a loud noise and didn't seem to be drying properly. When he arrived he jumped right into action in accessing what was wrong with my dishwasher. While he was here I asked him if he worked on anything other than kitchen appliances. He answered yes.
