Even with the unexpected delay, Eric and Jesus (his dad) were fantastic throughout the entire process. They kept us updated every step of the way, explained any changes, and always made sure we were comfortable with the plan before moving forward. Their crew worked incredibly hard every single day. I enjoy when it starts to cool down and having a fire in the fireplace makes sense. Long ago, I realized that buying a few bundles at a time at the local stores was way too costly to feed my pyro/fireplace habit. I started getting firewood from Garcia's well over 15 years ago when they were located on Jamacha Rd in El Cajon. Always friendly, always helpful and for a fraction of the cost of buying bundles of wood at the stores, I could buy more than enough wood to last me through February and not worry about how many times I used my fireplace or how much wood I was using to feed the fire. Of course, when they moved to Marshall a few years ago I continued to patronize them because of my years of prior experience with them. Believe me, if you forsee yourself going to the stores in the next month and buying more than 4-5 bundles of wood, go to Garcia's and make a one time purchase of what you'll need. It will be far less costly and you'll deal with some plain good, friendly people. read more
