This last time a large branch had fallen on my fence damaging it where I couldn't use my gate. I called Dallas Tree Service and they immediately came over and took down the branch that was affecting my gate opening. I had decided to remove the entire tree since we had have so many problems before. They came back a few days later and removed the entire tree, cleaned everything up and even fixed my fence all for a very good price. In my first attempt at laying sod beyond the "placemat" pieces sold at HD or Lowe's, I drove there to see options and ask questions. Everyone was so incredibly helpful! I started with Celebration Bermuda placemats, but then after renting a trailer, came back and got a pallet split twice, of Tif Tuf 419 in rolls. After paying one simply pulls around and the extremely diligent men joyfully loaded the sod into my trailer in a throughly professional manner. $160 out the door for a half pallet - 30 rolls with each roll 5' X 2'. Unbelievably successful!! Could not be more pleased! Hints: the TifTuf rolls were grown in West Texas as evidenced by the very red dirt - which we up North call "Scoria". 1. The red dirt becomes ubiquitous! Clean ASAP post installation. 2. Based on a TikTokker gardener dude's advice, I watered the BOTTOMS of all the rolls before installation.
