When we finally got inside, she asked how we were doing. My 80-year-old mother mentioned it was hot, and the employee replied, "Is it that hot since you're out?" -- dismissive, especially right after handing out water to other customers and not us. Eric asked a lot of good questions regarding my likes/dislikes of certain plants, my color preferences, maintenance needs/lifestyle and then sat down at the patio table to put his ideas on paper. I walked away to let him create in peace, then we reviewed his plan and discussed his recommendations. His pricing was fair, I knew his reputation in the area, and I liked his approach so he won my business. He's very knowledgeable and creative. Afterward, I contacted Eric with some questions and suggestions for other plants - he was always very responsive and thorough in his communication. He also made some suggestions regarding the irrigation system. Eric is committed to professional customer service and kept telling me he wanted to design something I could love (within my budget, of course.) He's pretty straightforward and honest, dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction. He's a nice guy, too! Thanks to Eric my happy place has been restored, and the area looks beautiful.
