Client managers are low integrity, dishonest, gaslighting, liars who blame others for Thier mistakes. Open door policy is not honored by upper management. Upper management literally lies about Thier lack of accountability and disregard for policy. The work was good, the client was good. The managers are Unresponsive, Unethical, and I left after they promoted and brought in the wrong kind of people after almost five years. I had no trouble finding another opportunity. With my work history, I didn't have to interview for my next gig. That's the kind of quality I am. They throw away quality. They promoted rubbish. I left January of 2025. read more

Warning: Avoid this private security company at all costs! Their staff is shockingly unprofessional and behaves inappropriately, essentially collecting paychecks for doing little to no work. Even worse, some managers have short tempers and lash out for no good reason, creating a toxic environment. I've worked with GardaWorld for 4-1/2 years in various roles. I've been an officer and a part of the MN branch team. They care about the officers and work diligently to fulfill clients needs. This company doesn't even deserve a star rating nor should be able to continue to operate. This specific branch has inexperienced HR who has constant errors with payroll they have no clue how to operate a professional security company as they lack the understanding of the roles of a supervisor and a guard, they allowed sexual misconduct, I had to encourage them to reopen an investigation involving my supervisor (field support supervisor) and another guard. They don't train on the supervisor tier setting us up for failure so I used my prior retail supervision and security knowledge/skills, they hire just anyone to fill in at sites not allowing supervisors to interview to filter, they reject disciplinary out of fear of losing guards, the generalist for HR is a huge Karen when she calls for anything it's in a condescending tone and gaslighting is a regular thing, they're professional scam artists. Prior/After Activities | Upon Taking Command as Site Supervisor Conditions Prior: *Office was unfit to operate (mounts of trash, clutter, no organization) 3 Day Clean. *Forms were created incomplete fashion. *Desks/Computers were unorganized, files not labeled. *Voicemail/Directory wasn't setup professionally. *Posts didn't have a complete Employee Handbook nor Post Orders. *No safety/communication board. *Offices weren't clean. *Drug test/fingerprints cards not available. *Uniforms not available. *No traffic enforcement equipment. *Officers we're not trained professionally. *Major disciplinary issues (Multiple). Conditions After: *Cleaned and organized offices to professional standard. *Professionally setup a voicemail/phone directory. *Redesigned forms to a professional standard. *Thoroughly checked and labelled files. *Printed handbooks for guards. *Created a safety/communication board. *Called HR to send drug tests/fingerprint kits along with uniforms. *Purchased traffic enforcement equipment (traffic vests, batons, and slow/stop paddle). *Guards professionally trained (on going progress). *Created an awarding system to show appreciation of the guards. (Guard of the Month & Year). *Disciplinary issues (lowered). Substituted at Other Site: *Office was unfit to operate (mounts of trash, clutter, no organization). 2 day clean. *Desks/Computers were unorganized, files not labeled. *Office wasn't clean. Notes: *HR has been the worse I have ever worked with in my 27yrs, topping every field of service I have been in. *Initially was going to resign after a couple of months due to the legal risk and headache of HR, but was begged not to and given a believable story "we're under new leadership". *Terminated for consulting HR on legal matters and being a stern supervisor, not serving to their wants. *Regularly threatened with termination. *Told I wouldn't be paid my last paycheck and was given a gaslit lecture of how terrible I am; I thought I was on the phone with a toddler. *Receive no stop harassing phone calls and emails. ***Please don't hire and especially don't work for this branch.
