We had a decent but not overwhelmingly positive experience here. The food for a party of 12 took over an hour and forty five minutes in total. The service was spotty at best and the beef stroganoff was forgettable. Other meals looked better and the appetizers were good. She skips songs and singers, doesn't give enough time to get to stage, has NO SONGS!, very unpersonable, waste of a Friday and Saturday night if you want to sit around and not sing. This has happened on many occasions with her, we have brought DJs from the Lehigh Valley and they have walked out due to the lack of professionalism from the current DJ they have. They refuse to return. We have brought many groups of 10 plus people with tabs of over $500-$600 and get treated like trash. If you are a karaoke follower DO NOT GO! She will curse you out and call you a BITCH over the mic if you voice your opinion..... OH AND THERES MORE! you will get thrown out if you voice your opinion to her for NO REASON at all! If you want to see a real DJ go see The Chingy Experience with DJ Chingy ( Chen Fontaine ) as he brings huge crowds everywhere he goes! He has a great selection of almost every song known to man and will get it upon request. He also keeps a very good rotation and allows everyone to sing and treats everyone with respect. Nestled in Harmony Lake you will find this bar along with several other spots to eat and drink. We had zero food but several drinks celebrating a bachelor party. It's a decent size bar that has karaoke although an appendage to the bar is also a small dance club that I believe is called, Boomers. The main bar has a snippy old man bar tender and all the songs are led by another grump. If you're looking for a local spot to the lake, this seems to be the youngest option. read more

Amazing spot! So much fun. The margarita was too sweet, and just not very good. A friend got a simple cocktail and said it was very watered down. Tables were a little sticky too. It's a super casual spot so these weren't major issues for us. I didn't eat anything but someone in the group ordered fries, which looked good. We were here for a friend's bachelorette, and there were several other bachelorette parties there too. The best part of this place is the karaoke. Didn't check out Boomer's, which I think is like a nightclub within the place. Anyway, the karaoke part was awesome. Really enjoyed seeing everyone go up to sing and perform. A decent place to go for some drinks and dinner. I had the penne, and it was more than I'd expect for the price. I've been to plenty of places where it costs a a good bit more (locally where I live) but you still get less. Perfectly cooked pasta, with chicken, and a delicious vodka style sauce. Someone in my dining party raved about the giant pretzel. Service was great. They have a karaoke night on Saturdays after 9. I didn't stick around for that, but kinda wish I did. read more

Just up for a few days and decided to take the family since we always end up stopping here. Food has never been something I would brag about but always hit the spot enough. Tonight, not so much. For the money I spent and the food/service we got-huge disappointment. The nachos were a joke. Whatever shredded shark white chicken was on the 10 tortilla chips covered in lettuce, tomato and cold cheese sauce-it looked like a side salad more than nachos. All of the fries were cold, chicken sandwich was gross, somehow the salad was salty-the only thing hot was the fish for the fish and chips. And the 'dirty martini' was straight olive juice. For what you charge-do better. We were one of two tables at a reasonable time so really, no excuse. read more

We have been coming here for the past 9-10 years or so and used to really like this place. It has gotten worse in recent years but tonight was the limit. My wife and I went in and we each ordered steaks, hers a prime rib medium rare and myself a T-Bone Pittsburgh Rare. They both came out Medium Well. I have not sent a steak back in probably 20 years. These were not worth eating. We sent them back. Our waitress was very nice but the manager came out and basically put the old, overcooked steaks on the table and told my wife she could have a couple of dollars off, and me nothing. We were told that the kitchen is not allowed to serve steaks that rare. Ok, that is fine, but that should have been disclosed shortly after ordering. There was no apology. No offer to order something different since they could not accommodate the requested temperature, just a very rude manager. She brought the chef out who insisted he had been there for 6 years. We were told if we ever ate there, he made it. Well then, we have had their steaks many times before and apparently during his stint, they were never this bad. We asked for the check. No discounts. We paid for our drinks and the appetizer. No apologies from anyone else, except the server. We also asked for the manager's name to include here. She refused. Mainly the reason I am writing this review. Decent customer service can go a long way. Sad as this was once our go to place in Lake Harmony. We hope the owners will read this and consider how they train and hire their staff. read more

Great karaoke spot guys if you want to hear the staff sing 30% of the night while the queue is straight STACKED lol you'll hear the blonde pony tail man belt out two ballads and a duet before your number is called. Love the dude with his own mic though but yeah chances are your song will get lost in the mail so might want to get your microwaved wings elsewhere tonight boys. The reason for the low rating is mostly due to the food, not the service. Our waitress, I forget her name... had blue hair, was super attentive, and sweet. When we first arrived around 8:00 PM on a Friday night there were only a few families eating indoors/outdoors. We asked if we could sit outdoors with our party of 10, and the hostess stated that the big table was already taken. We then asked if we could push tables together outside and she said no we would need to sit separately. Because of this reasoning, we decided to sit indoors. Meanwhile, while we were dining another group of 8-10 sat outside and they pushed the tables together for them.....suspicious. I ordered the special surf and turf. It comes with corn, french fries, snow crab legs, and a steak. I asked for medium-rare on my steak, it even had a little pin sticking out of it indicating the temperature I wanted. Unfortunately, it came out medium well, barely any pink at all. My crab legs were the biggest disappointment! My crab was missing a leg and most importantly the claw :( If I happen to travel back up to Lake Harmony I'll try Nick's Lake House or the Steak House down the street. read more

Nice bar restaurant setting. Had a long day and was not in the mood for burgers so my son and I Chose the steak. Was not the best choice. We asked for medium and got a tough well done steak that looked like a "select" steak all the way. Just by looking at it I knew I made the wrong choice. Wish i had a choice steak at that point. The salmon and chicken salad were good dishes ordered by my wife and daughter. Waitress was polite and on top of her game when it came to service. The wings were the best thing I had. Wish I could have ordered something different from the menu but that was my fault. I saw strip steak and my son and i decided to try our luck. No dice. Appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and salads look good. Maybe the entree portion should be revised if the food is going to be subpar. Prices are too high to receive a steak I could have had at Outback. We came here with friends for dinner while in the Poconos this past weekend. We were greeted & sat almost immediately and we were a table of 8. Our server was great and made sure our drinks were full and made sure our apps & soups did not come out with our meals. I ordered the french onion soup, it was nice & hot and delicious, although my only complaint was that there was too much bread. I did same the calamari, which came with 3 different dipping sauces, marinara, thai chilli and a lemon aioli ( I honestly did not try ). Some of the table ordered the boneless wings & they really enjoyed them. For my meal I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, it came with ham and tomatoes. It was delicious but by the time I got to my other half of the sandwich the bread was all soggy. Not sure if it was from the larger tomato slices or glaze on the ham but I would ask for it without ham next time. read more

Nasty Staff, Snapped at a child in our group We went to Shenanigans during Martin Luther King weekend for brunch. We were a large party of 11 adults and 3kids. As soon as our waitress appeared, she said they are short staffed, so the food would be delayed and they have gratuity applied. We agreed and ordered our food From there on, the infirmity of the staff was at full display. The waitress got some orders wrong, in spite of writing it down. Silverware never got to us. Even, we were assigned the task of passing plates from one end of the table to other, as our waitress simply dropped off everything at a corner. While the lack of kitchen staff can explain the delay but isn't an excuse of her tardiness The worst behavior was from their staff who bused tables. A child from our group had walked from one end of the table and stopped to talk to somebody in our group. This was blocking the pathway for the staff taking food. The tall lady, with the words "this is my first day, please be patient" snapped at the child and raised her voice. This was the first instance this happened and no prior warnings. Of course we wanted to make sure the kids do not get hurt when hot food is being served. But instead of informing us, she snapped and raised her voice at a child. This is unacceptable We met the manager while leaving to raise a complaint. The manager gave the description of the person and asked if that is the person. She said they were aware! Terrible... DO NOT GO!!.. traveling through with 2 young children. Asked waitress what they had on tap. She said "I don't know let me go check". Told her never mind. Waitress took drink order. Everyone enjoyed their cheesesteaks and I demolished an amazing veggie burger with ghost pepper sauce & jalapenos. It was pleasantly spicy and delicious. We were camping up in Hickory Run and decided for a night out to dinner. Our family was driving to another restaurant, and passed by Shenanigans on the way. We had had dinner here a few years back, and remembering it was decent, abandoned our plans and pulled into Shenanigans. Well it was a great experience! It was a Friday evening, and I was immediately acknowledged upon walking in and had a few servers help get us settled (we had young kiddos and needed high chair). Our waitress, Paige, was friendly and attentive and made recommendations saving us a few dollars off our bill. Our burgers were amazing! Wings were good, and they ended up giving us two ice creams on the house as one of the kid's dinners took longer to come out. Prices were decent overall, had a fruit medley specialty salad which seemed a bit overpriced for the amount we received- but overall everything else in our evening was worth a 5 star rating. I got the chicken bruschetta sandwich but i barely would consider it that. It basically was chicken with cheese ,balsamic and very few tomatoes. It wasn't bad. I was pleasantly surprised by this place, I had no expectations at all and just wanted to find a place that was open on Xmas after we finished skiing; It was 15mina out of our way but again it was Xmas and this place was open. I had the pot roast which was tender, the veggies were fresh and the mash was divine; At the table we had mozzarella sticks, chicken quesadilla, a cheese steak sandwich which were all great.
