All their flowers looked beautiful. They had a variety of plants to choose from. Staff was friendly. There was so much to choose from that it was hard to narrow it down to one thing. They have fruits and a variety of things from flowers, stones for the yard, ponds, chimes, etc... The biggest one for me is that they carried my Ale8 soft drink. I wasn't expecting that. If you have never visited the little market and are in the area, this would be a nice little spot to stop, look, and shop.

Many plants, flowers, local produce and a deli all in one area! Great spot for lunch as well. I primarily came here for lunch, and it was delicious. They have nice outdoor seating as well. They have so so much including wraps, sandwiches, desserts, and salads just to name a few. Swing by!

Nothing can beat fresh food! Located: 4411 Breckenridge Ln, Louisville KY Open Monday- Saturday 9am-7pm Sunday 10am-5pm I got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, dill pickles and ranch also a bag of chips and a dill pickle spear on the side $8.99 The sandwich was definitely super fresh and the bread was a 10/10! super soft For my side, i got the white chicken chili: grilled chilled, white beans, red peppers, carrots and celery $5.49 12oz cup One of the best white chicken chili's! The staff was very friendly and the market was amazing as well. They have flowers to purchase, seeds for growing your own, decor for your garden, a food market inside which provides fresh fruit, vegetables and many more items! This is a must stop by!

Stopped in here around 10 a.m for some tomatoes, peaches, deli lunch meat, a pretzel bread loaf, & other few things. One side door marked for new entrance & former main entrance marked as cut. Arrows were on floor and a sign encouraging social distancing. Very few customers were in while I was, which was good as it's a smaller place. Found my items quickly & easily, socially distanced at the check out line. Plexiglass was at the check out but the staff member checking customers out was not wearing a mask. I don't recall if the deli staff member was wearing a mask either. Update: many other reports of deli & other staff not wearing a mask to protect others. A shame as we've frequented this place for years.

This is my go to foraquixk snack of ice cream, deli, sandwiches and etc. They always have great produce and other selections such as jams, dips and desserts. I love their seasonal plants and outdoor decorations. Best part is they sell all the types of Waldens and G huges sugar free dips and sauces.

This place is not too far away and one of my favorite places. The pretzel croissants are one of the best things I have ever tried. The shop has so much to offer and I highly recommend trying it. We love chicken salad options, sides are delicious, pimento cheese, and don't forget desserts! I noticed they recently started carrying sodas that remind me of Jones brand and can't help but grab a few while I'm there. This place is not just deli, you can get all sorts of sourced local products from potato chips, bbq sauce, veggies, fruits, etc! They also have plants and flowers, Christmas trees, etc for whatever seasonal need you are looking to decorate.

This is a wonderful local spot for a quick, quality lunch and homemade baked goods. You can also buy plants, other groceries, and garden supplies. I have never encountered negative energy or rudeness from the staff. I'm fortunate that this store is not too far From me, and that I can quickly drop in to pick things up. Because it is a local small business you will see some higher prices, but that money is coming directly back into our community. The lunch portion sizes are also a good value for the money.

For as long as I can remember, I have lived right down the street from Garden Gate Fruit Market but never went inside. Just the other day, I was driving my father somewhere and he suggested that we stop by to purchase some local honey for our allergies. Once I set foot on their property, I realized that fruit was definitely not all they sold. There were wind chimes and pottery as well as tons of beautiful plants for sale out front. Inside, they have a deli, fresh produce, locally made jams, jellies, butters, and cheeses. The thing that won me over during my visit was the deli. I am already a sucker for delis, but this one took the cake. They had all of the salads: pasta salad, macaroni salad, chicken salad, tuna salad, and potato salad- and several varieties of each one. I hadn't eaten at all that day, so I ended up getting a meal there. I went with the garden gate chicken salad on wheat bread with lettuce and tomato and I got a pickle and loaded potato salad as my side. I also got a homemade chess bar and a half pound of their chipotle potato salad. I am not exaggerating when I say it was the best deli food I've ever had. It was out of this world. I will probably buy a whole pound of each one when I go back- and a few more chess bars! I highly recommend anything from Garden Gate Fruit Market. Please try the deli- you will not be disappointed!

Fresh fruits and vegetables, local products, prepared foods, a solid butcher counter, and even seasonal essentials all in one place. It is honestly a perfect little grocer. I have been coming here my entire life, and that consistency is part of what makes it special. No matter how much the city grows or changes, Paul's always feels like Paul's. This Christmas morning, I stopped in to grab fruit and it felt like the rest of the city had the same idea. Busy, lively, and still incredibly well run. This year alone, my family ordered firewood from Paul's for the winter and also had them cater Thanksgiving. Both were excellent. That kind of range says a lot. You can pick up beautiful produce, plan a holiday meal, grab something ready to eat, or take care of seasonal needs without bouncing all over town. If you are a Louisville native, I truly hope you already know Paul's Fruit Market. And if you are new to the city or just passing through, this should not be an "if you know, you know" situation. This is one of those places that defines the community. Go once and you will understand why people keep coming back for decades.

I don't know why it's never crossed our minds to stop by more than once a year, but maybe that'll change? They have a wonderful selection of tress and each year we find one that we think is the perfect size however when we get it home it's almost too big (Christmas tree shopping probz). Their prices are about average and they have a selection of trees for $20 or less -- they tend to have floppy flimsy limbs that don't hold ornaments as well, but they work in a pinch. Immediately upon arrival you are greeted by the guys who work there and they let it be known that they are more than happy to help you find anything you need. We didn't need much help as we only looked for ten minutes or less and we found the tree that we wanted. It only cost us around $30. We showed the employee and he told us to go inside to pay and by the time we got out it was already by the car. While we were inside I had to browse the candy that they have there as well. Who can say no to some sweets during the holidays? I ended up walking out with some snow-caps, peanut brittle, chocolate covered almonds and chocolate turtles for less than $9. Not a bad deal at all. When we got back out they were ready with the tree and they even tied it to the roof for us and it didn't budge the whole way! They also have wonderful wreaths. It's hard to pass them up each year, however we already have a decoration for the front door, so while hard, we end up passing them by each year. Great customer service, great old-fashioned candy and a great selection of trees to bring home for the holiday season. Visit if for no other reason than to get some treats, friendly service and leave with a smile.
