Since I travelled international, I wanted some groceries and water delivered to my hotel. This way I don't have to run around to shop by myself. Garden Grocer have a lot of good reviews, so I gave them a try. Order went smooth and they have a lot of items to order from. My credit card was charged a few days after my order. Vacation went near and Hurricane Irma, too. Sadly my flight got cancelled and I have to cancel my entire Disney vacation. They confirmed, due to Hurricane Irma, I'm able to cancel my order without any cancellation fee. It takes 14-20 business days to process refunds, Garden Grocer told me by email. Now, 6 1/2 weeks after my cancellation, I'm still waiting for my refund. They answer my emails and tell my they will send me the refund. Soon, I hope. The idea of ordering groceries with delivery directly to the hotel is wonderful. But if someone has to cancel, the refund should be back on the credit card as quick as the charge. read more

This is an awesome service in Orlando. It is worth every penny! When I arrived to our hotel the groceries were already waiting for me. It is a little pricey but not much different than what you find at any other store. Well worth the delivery fee. Will use them again. read more

We used Garden Grocer while staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge-Kidani Village during Spring Break in March and were very impressed. They gave us a discount for ordering early (6-8 weeks out), called us that same day to confirm that we placed the order, text us the day of travel that our order was with bell services and how many bags they delivered and then called again that evening to make sure everything was as expected! Their website is easy to navigate and they have quite a selection of foods and supplies, and even adult beverages! We will definitely use them again this November. I used Garden Grocer when I stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House this past week. They were perfect! They delivered when they said they would. They texted when they were delivering them since I was away from my room at the time they arrived. They left the groceries with the bell desk in a refrigerator. They called me later to ensure I received them. Their selection was pretty good. They had what I needed and what I was looking for. The prices were a little high, but I did not have a car to go shopping in so I was willing to spend the money to get what I needed. I found out about Garden Grocer on the internet when I googled grocery delivery at Disney resorts. If you are going to Disney World, I'd definitely recommend using them. read more

Used this service to have diapers, wipes, distilled water, and Dreft sent to our vacation villa. The items were double bagged in paper and delivered to the resort the night before our check-in as requested (due to available delivery times). All of the items were there and it saved us the hassle of having to ship those items or pack them and lug them to the airport. Highly recommend! read more

We recently used the Garden grocer when we went to Disney timeshare villas. We could not have been more thrilled with the service. We ordered fresh produce, dairy, other food, ice cream, wine, beer. The order was large, and was delivered to the hotel before we checked in. Everything was perfect. The hotel stored the perishables in their refrigerator and freezer. We ordered a bunch of snacks, water and beer for our week at Disney World. They delivered to Bell Services at our hotel and let us know when they dropped it off. They have an app which made ordering simple, and called to confirm our order. We are returning to Orlando in a few months and will use their service again. read more

After many years of using garden grocer I have to say unfortunately it's time to move on. One of our exciting times of vacation is to purchase items from garden grocer because we know the trip is near. After I saw that the prices were $2-4 higher than last year I had to make a call. Left a message with no return call. I addressed my concerns on FB in which their response was to block me from making ANY comments. Over the years we had great service to now they don't want to be bothered with questions. I guess this is just another business that got too big for their britches read more

If you enjoy incomplete orders and indifferent customer service then this is the company for you! Have used service in the past without incident, however, this last time was disappointing. Beer and soda were missing from my order. Not a good way to start a vacation when expecting to entertain. Can you imagine rum without coke. It's uncivilized! And NO BEER after a round of golf. Unimaginable! Called customer service and spoke with"Kevin". Not sure if I woke him from a nap or he is just that indifferent. He did agree to send missing items and waive delivery fee. Beverages were delivered several hours later. Cola is fine if poured over ice however no excuse for delivery of WARM beer! Saratoga springs had plenty of space in luggage holding fridge to place beverages however GG opted to not utilize space. Spoke with customer service (Kevin) again and advised I also wanted the tip refunded too. Must have woke him again. After the vacation I called again and spoke with a female who advised that the tip would be refunded as well. Almost 2 weeks later and no refund. There are several other grocery delivery options available and I will be exploring them. Vacation is the last place you want to encounter frustration and incompetence, however, if you are into that please use garden grocer. We used Garden Grocer for the first time a few weeks ago, and they were absolutely great! we had a great experience, and I honestly have been recommending it to everybody I know. They delivered my food before they were supposed to, they sent me a text message notifying me that our order was delivered, and they made sure bell services at Disney put the cold food in my fridge! they also called a few hrs later to confirm my order had been delivered. I have used the online ordering & delivery service through Garden Grocer while vacationing at Disney World. It was great. My boyfriend and I knew we didn't want to eat Disney food 3x a day so we opted to order some groceries from GG like supplies for PB&J, granola bars, potato chips etc. Their website can be a bit difficult to navigate and search for items but once you find everything, check out is a breeze. You can select which day and time slot you'd like your groceries delivered (depending on which time slots are available). We were staying at the Pop Century Resort and the only time that worked was 2pm but I was worried we'd be in the parks at that time and unavailable to be there for our grocery delivery. I was assured by a cast member at the hotel that GG would deliver our order to bell services and we could pick it up from there later on. I was even sent a text and received a voicemail from GG letting us know our groceries were delivered. Minus one star because you have to order at least $40 worth of stuff and then the delivery cost is something like $13.00 (plus tip). I understand they are not going to deliver just $10 or $20 worth of groceries but why the steep delivery charge? I think delivery is free if you order a certain amount, but it was a pretty high amount. I'm sure if you're a family of 5, you could easily reach this number but for just two people it was a stretch. If you're going to Disney World and don't want to overdose on dole whips, turkey legs and Mickey waffles, definitely check out Garden Grocer! read more

This business is a ripoff. I understand it is a business and the whole idea is for them to make money, but they overcharge and nickel and dime you anywhere they can. I went to place my order online and saw the $14 delivery fee and almost threw up. Even grocery delivery up here in overpriced NE is half that, but you know what? It's the convenience factor so I sucked it up and continued with my order....until I saw they were going to charge me $10.99 for a 24 pack of bottled water that I can get for $2.99 up here in MA. Excuse me? Even with the 10% off for ordering 60 days out that is $9.99 or more than triple the retail price. Sorry, Garden Grocer. You're not getting my business! read more

I goofed and ordered all my items to arrive one month early, and Garden Grocer saved the day, returned the delivery, and re-delivered on correct day. Excellent customer service--and you can really tell a lot about a business by their customer service when the customer screws something up. Highly recommend to anyone headed to Disney--if you have a few days in park with a lot of family members, ordering food for breakfast and snacks will save you a bunch of $$. We recently placed an order for our Disney trip (1/2017). Groceries were delivered promptly to our hotel (Disney All Sports Resort), everything we ordered and in perfect condition. I have a hard time believing they have achieved the reputation they have after our experience. I'd love to think it was a one-off, but after two members of their team contacted me separately, letting me know how they would be following up with a supervisor and contacting me promptly about the bad service I received (it's two weeks and three follow-up emails later and I have received nothing), I want to deter anyone from using this company. Their site is easy to use, which is what reeled me in. We were given a window of 12-4 for food delivery. When 4:15 hit, I contacted them to see if we were going to be getting our food (with two hungry toddlers our trip was off to a hungry start). By 5:00 our food had arrived with an explanation of, "The driver ran late". No apology. No follow-up. And the grapes were soft, and the bananas were closer to brown than yellow. We go to Disney on annual trips because of my parents' DVC membership. Never will be using these guys again. SO disappointed. read more
