I'm looking for a new butcher in Orlando. I've already tried Wild Forks and Meat Wonderfoods. Yelp suggested I try Carnez. I understand your business is new, but do you have a physical location?

Hi Laura, right now we are only online. We have a facility based in Orlando where we process our meats, but right now we only offer online shopping at www.carnezmeats.com and we hand-deliver to your doorstep with free delivery options available.…

There are so many different tapas to order from, and the best way to try as many as you can is to order the "Get 'Em All" that's offered at their Happy Hour. You can get like 9 different tapas for around $20. My absolute favorite item is the Cajun Chicken Egg Roll. It's stuffed with a good amount of chicken, goat cheese, some veggies, and is served with this not-so-tangy mustard sauce. For all the food that was provided, this is such a good deal. There are a ton of other menu items available, that the "Get 'Em All" doesn't cover, that are also definitely worth trying. The entire place is eclectic and oozing with art and creativity. The walls are covered in paintings and other art pieces made by local artists. Each artwork can be purchased to support them. Sometimes there is a live artist working on their art. You can support them directly by purchasing some prints or any completed pieces they have on display.

I'm glad we picked it because the whole experience was a lot of fun. The first thing you notice is all the artwork and colorful decor. Then a live contortionist started performing while we were eating, which definitely wasn't something I was expecting but made the place feel even more unique. Sebastian took great care of us. We had a few gluten free and other dietary restrictions at the table, and he answered every question without missing a beat. That kind of service always stands out. I had the sweet potato, the street corn and the butter chicken tikka masala, and every plate was worth ordering. I also tried the Starry Night cocktail. I normally avoid vodka whenever I can, but this drink completely won me over. Easily one of the best cocktails I've had in a while. If you're already heading to the attractions on I Drive or catching a movie nearby, I'd definitely recommend stopping here. Great food, creative drinks and an atmosphere that's just plain fun without feeling like a tourist trap.

I did have a hurricane and oh my Lord it was just like New Orleans. The service was impeccable. I can't remember the name of our waitress, but Lord was she good. Oh man were they good!!!! Ambience everything to me and the decorations come straight from Nola and heavens I loved every second of being in that restaurant. I will go back again and again and again. We did not like it at all, we told our server (Sophia) and explained we didn't like the flavor, the Crawfish was overcooked and rubbery, and the disu was cold. Sophia offered to bring us somewhere else, we declined stating we would have plenty once our entrees arrived. What I was not aware of until we got the bill, was that she did not make it right. She should have taken it off the bill considering only 1 bite was eaten. Main courses, Shrimp Etouffee for my husband and Shrimp and Grits with Debris Gravy for me. The Etouffee was very soupy. It had to be eaten with a spoon. I tasted it and all I could taste was tomato sauce and stewed Tomatoes. He said it was ok, but was obvious no one ever tasted ot while cooking. Any chef will tell you constantly taste as you cook. My Shrimp & Grits was wonderful as usual.

I went with my mom and it was probably fifty minutes after it had opened for the day. There were quite a few people already eaten and by the demographic (older crowd) I knew this place was going to slap. In addition to that, I heard some of the waitresses talking to the customers and most of them seemed to be locals and frequent customers. Due to that, I figured the food must be good. Anyway, we had a server who was very friendly and personable. I ordered the lunch special where I got the catfish, fried flounder, the vegetable of the day, squash, and mashed potatoes with country fried steak gravy. My mom got fried clam and fried catfish with a side of coleslaw. The ordering time did not take too long and our food came out relatively fast. The catfish was very tasty along with the fried flounder. They are were very well cooked and had a nice breading-to-fish ratio. I enjoyed the yellow squash as the vegetable of the day but I wasn't crazy about the mashed potatoes. I personally would not get them again. My mom enjoyed the fried clam as she talked about how she used to get a Howard Johnsons fried clam sandwich that she still dreams of. She said these fried clams were even better cooked than the ones she had in the past. She also said she really enjoyed the catfish as it was very tasty. Finally, she mentioned how the coleslaw was really good as it wasn't overly 'mayonaisey.' Now, I do have one negative thing to say. Although our waitress was very sweet and kind she was a bit slow on wrapping up our dining experience. We both wanted to get some desert to go, and waited at least ten minutes for her to come back to our table. There was a long period of time where I did not see her waiting on any tables and was in the kitchen. She eventually came back and we ordered the Chocolate Silk Pie and the Peach Cobbler. Then we ended up waiting another ten for the check. Other than that, we did enjoy our experience and this restaurant and would come back in the future.

If it's during the day, tube floaters, paddle boarders, and small boats pass by making for some fun entertainment. However, the food and service are really lacking but has been for years. And it really doesn't matter...due to the atmosphere, people will continue to come here no matter what! It's literally that great! If you are at the bar ordering a drink due to the fact you will wait for a table, no matter the time of day...Do not get stung by the huge amount of bees that surround the soda station and the right side of the bar. I understand that the bartenders and servers are busy but service and attitudes are to the extreme! I think that businesses forget to tell their employees...people are PAYING to eat here. Most on vacation and don't want an attitude. But again, due to the atmosphere...most people will overlook the attitudes. Anyway, the food is severely lacking. We are locals and have eaten here many a time. Just remember the prices on the menu are not because the food and service are amazing...it's because of the atmosphere. P.s. please stop serving glass to people who are drinking and heading to the water.
