The billing practices at this location are sketchy. When you make a purchase with a credit card, you're always overcharged $3 - $4 and then handed the $3 - $4 in cash. Whatever. Happens every time I come here. My last visit on 3/21/2022 was no different. Bill was $66, I was charged $70 and then received the cash back. The big difference this time is that when I looked at my bank statement, by final bill was $73.50 and I had another separate change for $3 from GR. This had never happened before. I called GR and they told me it was my bank charging me fees. Weird. I called my bank and they tell me they have not charged me any fees -- all charges have been made by GR. Doesn't seem like much, but if every person paying with a card is getting overcharged $6 (or more), than that's not a good look. I haven't bothered calling back GR as I don't believe it will get me anywhere. Honestly, when I first called them to get my bill adjusted, I didn't expect so much push back and I also couldn't follow their excuses for the overcharges -- just seemed like they were delivering a bunch of "blanket" one liners because they get these types of calls frequently -- so be weary if you're paying with a credit or bank card here.. something sketch is going on. read more

I think I like this one better because they show you the menu at the register- which really helps me to read through what I'm getting while the associate is helping me. They also take cash and card - but there is a service fee added on for card. read more

I've been going here for some time for convenience. It's that close. I will probably continue to go because if you carefully scan prices, there are good deals. But in addition to what other people said - the staff can't answer simple questions (I've gotten multiple conflicting answers to the same question across visits) - the website is abominable when it come sto telling you what you are actually getting with many of the edibles. So they need to tell you the total amount of THC, so you can figure out the dose per-ML and-per-portion of ML You have to schlep over to here: https://www.treeworksma.com/dailydrops Do that and you find out that in the 50ml vial, there is 500mg THC and 100mg CBG. FINALLY! Now, it becomes obvious that there's 10mg per ml, and you can calculate your dose exactly. What else? you can judge the price per mg. Another hidden fact. (I don't know about the rest of you, but I care about per-mg price when it comes to edibles....oh yes, and knowing exactly what it is I'm taking). This kind of confusion goes for all their tinctures. " Confusing, right? Maybe this is one product they consider two gummies rather one to be the dose, since then there wouldn't be a contradiction, but they don't say it. And they usually consider one gummy or one marked piece of a chocolate bar, etc, one dose. OK ok. But their dosage info says: "TAC:5.66mg THC:5.44mg". obviously, that can't be per-chocolate. If it's 100mg total in an 80-pack, it's 1.25mg per piece. THAT is the information you want. Why make the customer do all the work? ___________ I mean...these people used to sell for $30 their own tincture, which varied between 380mg and 450mg per ~28 ml bottle. Great price. But their website at the time would have had you believe that the there were about 50 doses of ~3.5mg in each bottle. I wish I had a screenshot. Asking them via website or in person didn't help. I had to demand to see the package the tincture came in, then do a little quick math in my head. I want to like this place, especially since it's so close. But really. Clean up the act! They have a parking lot so that's isn't a issue at all ... They stay open later than most places which is another positive but the prices are pretty high ... I've been to every medical dispensary in Massachusetts and Garden Remedies is the first place to offer zero hospitality and defective products. I've had to come back twice because a large batch of one of the products they carry was bad, moldy and unusable. On top of making me wait for an hour to even get a usable product in my hand and there was nothing offered in my expense and time whereas several other dispensaries have thrown in free goods on an occasion where their card reader system was not working with my card and I had to go across the street to an atm where they offered free goods for the trouble. read more

Excellent quality products, good customer service. I like the apothecary feel of the dispensary and really I don't know what everybody is complaining about. Honestly after knowing the staff, and the process, I think some of the prior yelp reviews are actually made up or exaggerated. If you know anything about the cannabis industry (especially in Taxachusetts) there will be times when there may be shortages. Things are seasonal we live in New England even if the sh!! is grown indoors. There is room for error. Especially when you stick to your guns and grow pesticide free. Come on guys let's face it, The cannabis control commission is dirtier than the floor of a Walmart bathroom. To punish, fine or for some dumb reason "OMG A BUG!!"" They will force these companies to destroy entire crop. And how they do that is heartbreaking, they just put it in a gigantic grinder full of wet kitty litter and then it turns into a big concrete unsmokable mass. This dispensary has been my one and only for quite some time. Recently the website has changed. It's horrible and does not include the bulk pricing like it used to. When i called to find out about that, they could not give a straight answer and only to say the pricing has gone up. Well that said,, i have been going to Harbor House collectives in Chelsea mass. Prices are great (they are MEDICAL NOW ALSO) and the staff has a lot more answers to any questions i have had. Might have to say so long to Garden remedies even though they are closer and more convenient. Tough to call this a dispensary. I was confused when I walked in and was told that they actually didn't have any of the stuff on the screen. Meaning they had one strain. And when I asked if it was decent, the staff member said "ehh, its alright." The staff member also said "yeah we have actually been sold out of that all day and cant figure out how to erase it" when explaining the TWO menu options. I really like the atmosphere and staff at garden remedies, but just discovered why a product i bought from them doesn't seem to have the expected effects. i bought a container of G-caps with "cannabis capsules" written in smaller letters underneath. To the side, it has "THC" in regular size black letters (which are a little hard to see on the color of the label. then it tells the serving size and how many servings per container. No other active ingredients are listed on the front. When I bought this, I was actually looking for something that didn't have to be smoked and contained only thc as an active ingredient. I didn't expect it to be the "ONLY " thing listed, but I at least expected it to be the 1st ingredient. I definitely didn't expect it to be the 4th ingredient, with all the prior components being ones that have mitigating effects on the psychoactive effects of thc one might expect. the active thc per piece is listed on the bottom as being 40 mg. and it is- i think 40.8. but only after coming after the 3 mitigating components before it. i discovered this after trying it 2x and not even getting the effects i would generally get from 20 or so mg of consumed thc. I felt only an ignorable body buzziness and i couldn't tell if i felt more relaxed or anything at all like that. i couldn't understand so read the fine print. there is a market for this product. but the fact that it is not truly an active thc forward product should be shown upfront and/or the fact that the psychoactive effects of the thc will be lessened by the first 3 components should be made clear on the pkg so you know what you're buying. their "full spectrum" dark chocolate sativa bars also don't have the full 5 mg per piece that is usually standard for edibles. for some reason i think they have 4.8 mg. the chocolate bar also contains cbg at a much lower level, but that still is a compound that lowers psychoactive effects. they are a great dispensery, but their labeling needs to be cleared up so you know what you're getting before buying it without having to stand there trying to read the ingredients list. read more

A dispensary that has 1 strain is not a dispensary, that is a guy who lives in his mothers basement... just a joke of an establishment ... No one who worked there(and there was at least 8 people behind the counter) knew when they would have more than one strain... so they have that going for them also...and the product was dry, more than half of it was shake and there was no seal on the packaging...
