I got the reminder of the…read morehorrible experience I had by getting a call from a lovely associate from Dr.Coakleys office asking if I was in the area for an appointment to stop in ...to start this has nothing to do with the amazing staff and only the doctor/ practice itself. Mind you the disbelief I had after two years, my last visit for my Invisalign treatment was June 2021 and I was nearing the end of my treatment , I was sitting in the chair getting more spaces filed in between my teeth, and just had 2 sets left of Invisalign (wearing each set for about 2-3 weeks). The doctor had the assistant stop making the spaces between my teeth after I told him I would be relocating. I tried to tell the doctor I would be in NJ long enough to finish those sets and get my retainer molded ... when the doctor realized I was moving he said, " ok just get her molds done for her retainer and she will not 'need' the last two sets of Invisalign, I stopped and said no I would like to complete my treatement and the reason for the visit was to organize my appointments, clearly that did not happen.... I still have those spaces in between my teeth and it is causing gum irritation and I am now getting more treatments for that.... But that is beside the point. Let's back up, less than half way through my treatment I had two top teeth that broke and were replaced by permanent porcelain implants due to severe face trauma , therefore I needed to pause my treatment and get updated moldings for new Invisalign for just my top/upper set .... 5 weeks later when I was able to start my Invisalign again since my updated set game in to match my new top teeth , I was excited to proceed yet the Invisalign did not fit at all, I kindly ask the doctor to check to see that he gave me the "new" upper set and not the OLD ones and he refused to simply take a second look and told me I needed to buy AcceleDent (not covered by insurance $600 out of pocket) , he said after two weeks if they feel wierd come back, I went back after a week and knew when I called he was not there in office therefore I stoped by and had one of the lovely assistance take a look and not to my surprise , the doctor gave me my OLD set , now I never got an apology and I asked what to do with the AcceleDent and I was told to use it since I bought it , but to that point there was no remorse or ownership taken on behalf of the doctors practice and actions. Thank you for calling to remind me of the horrible experience and making me so much more thankful for the orthodontist/professional that I am working with now to evaluate exactly what was wrong about my previous treatment and how to get everything aligned/corrected !

I did my research and Dr. Champagne's credentials were top notch ( despite the fact it was a 45 min drive). Years later, and a considerable amount of work done, it is the best choice I made. Dr. Champagne and his team are extremely professional, personable and very customer focused. Their office team is very organized and work with my insurance seamlessly - makes it easy for me as it gets complicated. Most importantly, both he and Inga (his collegaue) ,have a very delicate working style which is rare from my experience- I learned the hard way. Dr. Ponquinette gave me hope and I immediately made the decision to have him work in my mouth. The surgery day came, Dr Ponquinette performed his magic, numerous extractions and 2 implants. All went flawlessly. No bruising or pain. The care of Dr. Ponquinette and his office exceeded my expectations by far. Throughout the years never had a positive outcome with dentist or oral surgeons. I am well- versed in supportive, holistic options & had Oxygen/Ozone added to my procedure. Healing was rapid & complete. I had an emergency extraction a later by a local "holistic" dentist & it was a nightmare. I am returning to Dr. P at Atlantic now for sedation & oral surgery clean- out & treatment of infection from the other dentist that I've dealt with for a year.The only reason for the latter is that I have been dealing with treatment for Stage 4 cancer, numerous other urgent issues AND work 7 days a week.
