I went there for an emergency root canal, which went well, although I had to wait in the chair doing nothing for 45 minutes, before they finally started working on me, consequently making me late for work. Everyone was very nice and apologetic, but that was a bad first impression for me. They pushed the comprehensive dental exam for a later date, which I did get. They found many many issues with my teeth and gums, which really surprised me, as I practice excellent oral hygiene every day. Long story short - I moved to another state not long after this and found a dentist here, who did the exact same exam - all the bite-wing and panoramic x-rays, photos, physical exam, etc., and found only a tiny fraction of what Brielle "found." For example - Brielle told me I needed to get 2 back teeth extracted. I knew of one tooth, given what was going on, but the other tooth they wanted to extract turned out to be perfectly healthy and fine, with absolutely no need to extract, per my current dentist. Brielle also pointed out other work I needed to get done - another example: deep scaling - while the dentist I go to now found no issues whatsoever with my gums. And there were others. Needless to say, I would never to back to them.

The name is totally slipping me right now, but when I came in for my last bi-yearly check up my hygienist was such a sweetheart! It's obvious that she has a passion for taking care of teeth because she's been in the business for almost 40 years and has worked at this particular practice for around 10 years. Not only did she do a great job helping clean my teeth, but she also gave me some really great tips on tooth care practices to put into place every day. I've never really felt that compelled to make the switch from a regular to an electric tooth brush, but now I think I'm convinced. Overall, this is an office that has really got their stuff together. They have a really organized appointment reminder system and send frequent text/email/call reminders during the days leading up to your appointment. They also never let you leave empty handed and always give out a really cute goodie bag with a bunch of tooth care stuff in it. My old dentist used to just hand out a toothbrush, so it's nice to get a whole assortment of things. As long as they keep taking my insurance, I'll keep on going to this office for my check-ups. The dentist I saw--never the same one twice--told me I needed 3 (!) extractions and would have to have a "flapper"--but don't worry, I'd get used to it. Dr. Silver examined my mouth, looked at the x-rays, and said I needed two root canals and no extractions. Not great, but I questioned why the other clinic hadn't detected anything six months ago when I got x-rayed. He said I was right to question what the other dentist had said; keeping my teeth is a priority of mine. In the words of Frank Zappa, "Always get a second opinion."

They had texted me to confirm the date and time of 6/20 at 10:20AM twice to which I responded confirming. As far as I was concerned this was my appointment time. The day of my appointment I was getting ready to leave when they called to ask if I was still coming for my appointment at 10AM.. to which I told them I thought it was at 10:20AM. She had told me that no, my appointment was at 10AM and she would have to check with the hygienist if they could still see me. During this time I double checked the written communication which did, in fact, say 10:20AM. When she came back on she said they could still see me to which I told her, well yes, seeing as my appointment is at 10:20AM and was confirmed to be so twice by your text confirmation system. She continue to argue that my appointment was for 10AM. I show up at the office and they ask me to come back to fill out paperwork (that I had already done the night before when their system sent it to me) and I had told her that they must have messed up because my appointment was at 10:20AM and proceeded to try to show her the texts. She did not want to see the texts and argued with me that my appointment was for 10AM and they had tried to call me the day before to confirm and let me know that they had to bump me up in the schedule. They had only called me ONCE and never said anything about changing my appointment time in the voicemail. I never once received an apology and was only met with snarky attitude so I told them to cancel my appointment and left. The level of unprofessionalism and disrespect to a FIRST TIME patient was very distasteful and I would never recommend them based on that alone. My advice to them is to get organized and improve upon their bedside manner with patients. Two stars only because I never saw a dentist and cannot speak to their expertise or skill.
