My husband and I recently renovated our entire home and ended up replacing all of the flooring through our entire house with Mirage flooring through Ray. When we initially reached out to Ray we intended to refinish our downstairs 90's oak hardwoods, and replace our upstairs carpeting with new hardwood. Upon meeting with Ray for the first time, we began to consider replacing our existing hardwoods and Ray could not have been more patient, helpful, and genuine in answering all of our questions and dealing with our indecisiveness on what to do. He did not pressure us at all, but gave us pros and cons (as well as pricing) to both refinishing and replacing. As mentioned, we ended up replacing the entire home's flooring, including our stair treads. Ray was able to quickly procure enough flooring needed for the project, had stair treads custom matched to our beautiful flooring, and had it all promptly delivered. Since we were renovating on a budget I decided to look into refinishing an existing floor instead of replacing. It helps save the environment, too. :) So I called up Rees and he was awesome from the beginning. He came out to take measurements, identified our wood type, helped us pick out a color, and got us a quote quickly that was lower than we originally budgeted for. And honestly we were very worried about price because the entire first floor needed to be done. We let him and his crew in on the first day since we weren't moved in yet, he sanded down part of the floor and tested out 3 colors for us, and our floors were done in about 3 or 4 days. He even filled in 3 or 4 heating vents in the floor that were no longer in use and I'm so glad those holes are gone! We are so pleased with the result! We've had plumbers, electricians, handymen, family, etc come into the house and EVERYONE is blown away by the floors. They all think it's a brand new floor. If we ever decide to fix up the floors upstairs, Rees is definitely getting the job.
