We had heard so many great things about this business and even purchased carpet and flooring from them before and had a great experience, but this business is not the same as it was 3 yrs. ago when I first purchased from them. It started out fine, we went to the showroom, met with the salesperson Tom, picked out carpet, took some samples home and all seemed to be going well. Tom came out, measured the room, gave us a price(price seemed fair), he left and said he would send us the estimate when he got back to the office. About an hour later we got the written estimate, it was $200 different from what he gave us verbally at the house, so we called to ask why? He told us he must have added wrong, and it was simple math we could just add it ourselves, yes, we could add it ourselves but again the difference was $200 apparently, he could not do the simple math at our house, everyone makes mistakes. We agreed as the price was still fair, we gave a deposit and asked that they order it for us. We were told it was on back order and would be 10-14 days before it would be delivered, which was fine as we were painting the room anyway, so it gave us some time. They called much earlier than expected that the carpet was in, we asked them to hold it for a week as we needed to get the room painted, they said no problem, we scheduled the install for 2/14/23. Installers come out that morning, we explained to them the walls were freshly painted and to please use care when taking out the old carpet, they began to rip the carpet, and my husband happened to walk into the room to see large chunks taken out of the paint, the installer did not stop to alert us of what was happened and just kept ripping the carpet out. My husband was upset, again we told them multiple times the walls were freshly painted. He asked how we were going to fix this, the installer said you can paint it now before we lay the new carpet or paint it after, again we had the room painted before the new carpet so as not to get paint all over new carpet. He said I have to call my boss Mike Young, he called his boss, got us really nowhere and again, we were wondering how this was going to get fixed? Finally, the guy called Mike Young again, my husband got on the phone with him, asked him what they could do to fix this, the boss told my husband they were not responsible to fix the walls, it was our issue to fix, so my husband said OK i will deduct the can of paint from what we owe you, have a nice day and hung up. My husband left to get a can of paint to fix the wall(it was $20), I see a truck pull into my driveway so I go out to see who it is, I said can I help you, he said with an attitude I am talking to my installer can't you tell I am the F'in owner. I said no I can't you have no markings on your truck, nothing, he starts shoving the old carpet in my face, telling my whoever painted it, let paint drip behind the carpet, they are not going to fix any of this, I was a stupid C U Next Tuesday and my husband was a P***y he was taking his carpet and leaving. I was literally stunned, I did not yell or curse at him, the installer did not know what to say, I just walked inside, in disbelief that a business owner and a man that has a wife and children would think it was OK to speak to a woman that way. I called the store Tom was apologizing that his boss got out of hand, I just wanted my money back, that took over a week to finally get back, they said they processed the refund, that day, that I should see it the next day, nothing, finally after week, I stated there was still no refund and I was going to contact my bank, they sent a receipt that showed the refund was processed the date on it was 2/21/23 although they insist it was done on 2/15/23 and amazingly it showed in the bank 2 days later. Luckily Servi-King came to our rescue and installed beautiful carpet for us that Friday with no issues. There are plenty of places to buy carpet in the area, do your research and go with the place that has respect for customers and their property.

I can assure you, I am a real customer, who utilized his company's services when we bought our home. We had new carpet installed in our bedroom in our home in Modena Park. Since he doesn't have service records it's no wonder he doesn't remember doing our carpets. Respectfully sir, don't come on my review to say I'm a competitor trying to undermine your business. My account of my experience with your and your company is completely accurate. And now he's asking for a receipt from work I had done on my home 8 years ago. Who saves receipts for 8 years? it was November 2015. I live in Modena Place in NE Philadelphia. The fact that he's actually going on Yelp to try to discredit any negative review (which there are multiple) just shows he's not a good person to work with. He could have just acknowledged the poor experience her gave to me and my husband and the other people who have reviews him and called it a day. Yet, here he is, fighting a review that's almost a decade old. I saw him comment on another review that the reviewer must be suffering from a mental illness. That judgment is in poor taste, but not surprising. He seems like a real gem. It will be my extreme pleasure to never do business with him again. Again - I'm not a competitor, undermining your business, sir. I work in healthcare. No one I know owns a carpet sales company or installation company. I have nothing to gain by giving an incredibly honest review of your business. You sold me sub par carpeting for a regular price. I got nothing special from you or your company. After dealing with another company, I realized I should have shopped around instead of going with your company, based on another's recommendation. I encouraged others to shop around, so they wouldn't have buyer's remorse like I did. And Yelp won't remove this review because I have a good history with Yelp and rate company's fairly. That's how Yelp works. If you don't want people leaving accurate reviews, that you interpret as negative, use the feedback to improve your future encounters. It's unfortunate that every time you reply to me, you make yourself look more incompetent. You're doing yourself no favors. If anyone who read this review wants to know the company we used when we purchased wall to walk for our basement please feel free to message me and I'll share their name.

I told that person I would make sure they have a spot. It seemed like she wanted to reschedule or something Then a day or two later I get an email stating the sales rep was all of a sudden sick. How convenient and good timing. So I said okay and I wasn't going to work with them because the timing was suspicious. But I said that I would still work with them. So we scheduled another day. I received an email asking if they could come out on a specific day and I said yes but I guess I didn't respond that same day and that was a problem. The next email I got was a response with the another date almost two weeks later. I asked what happend to the earlier date and I was told the sales rep books up fast and they got booked and then the asked me if I wanted another sales rep and I said yes and asked what time could they make it. The final email the sent me said after checking they don't service my area. Like really?! I already gave them my address the first time we talked, and now y'all don't service my area? Which is the Philadelphia area. That's real strange to me and still confused by their actions and responses. I wasn't rude or anything. Maybe someone will have better luck with this company but I couldn't be okay without sharing this with whoever decides to contact this company and maybe they will see this and not do this to the next potential customer.

They did excellent work l. They painted my rusty railings on my porch and back steps and it looks brand new. Excellent service always!
