They also planted 210 acres of SUNFLOWERS, open for FREE public viewing during peak bloom--and it's one of the most breathtaking sights I've ever experienced. I stumbled on this gem while scrolling social media and instantly knew it was headed to the "Adventure For Sure" list. Getting there was simple: plug the address into Google Maps, then follow the road-side signs for parking. The second we turned off the main road, we saw it--rows upon rows of golden sunflowers stretching endlessly, glowing in the late-day sun. Peak sunflower bloom 2025 did not disappoint. We grabbed dinner from a local pizza spot, popped open the hatch of the car, and had a mini picnic in the parking area while gazing across millions of sunflowers as the sun set. I've honestly never seen anything this beautiful in my life. I'm not sure what everyone else's Heaven looks like, but mine looks exactly like Lesher's sunflower fields. There's plenty of on-site parking and a well-maintained gravel road running through the fields. Visitors can walk at their own pace through the flowers or even drive through--perfect for anyone with mobility challenges to still enjoy the magic. Entry is completely free, but if you want to take a little sunshine home, you can cut your own sunflower for just $1 each. (There's a small hut to drop your money.) I personally prefer leaving them growing in the field, but many others were happily gathering bouquets while we were there. The vibe was incredible: families taking portraits, kids running and giggling, couples dancing in the glow of dusk, and even a few pro photographers setting up the perfect golden-hour shot. Pets are welcome too--we saw several dogs happily sniffing their way through the rows. Lesher's also has donation boxes throughout the fields, and they ask professional photographers to donate $5 per client session--an easy, worthy way to support the farm. Open dawn to dusk, every day. Completely free to visit (though I'd encourage leaving a donation). The kind of place that reminds you to pause, breathe, and appreciate beauty in its purest form. Hands down, this was one of my favorite adventures of the year. If you're anywhere near the area during sunflower season--GO. It's so beautiful, it's mind-blowing.

This review is for the Sunflower farm open to the public…read more OMG! My second visit and still wows you when you arrive. We visited Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Peak weekend for blooms. And blooming sunflowers for as far as the eye could see!! Sunday, the Farm is open for viewing, but workers and the shed of their products is off duty that day. They do, on Sunday, however, have a cashbox for an honor system of leaving a dollar for every sunflower you opt to cut. Parking and admission are free. The entrance for parking for sunflowers is on new franklin rd. This is an annual event. Exact dates can be found on their Facebook page. It is sooo worth the visit, and, for us, the 3 hour drive from Pittsburgh.

I found the rental to be affordable for all they provide; a blank room to decorate how ever you please, 15 kid bands for the petting zoo, 2hrs in the barn, tables, chairs, a private show and tell, and access to the whole barnyard. We payed extra for the petting zoo food. The staff is also so great at communicating thought email and phone. They were very patient with me and answered all my questions.
