I was panicking. We called three roofing companies in Baltimore and got estimates from all three. T&T was the least expensive and we liked Tony. Also, the other two companies were saying they couldn't do the roof until next week and there was more rain and snow in the forecast for the next few days. Tony from T&T came over the next day in another snow storm with a contract. This was a Thursday. I was shocked that he would even come in that weather! The following day, Friday, even though it was beyond freezing, 4 guys just showed up with ladders and shovels to clear all of the snow and ice off of our roof so it wouldn't leak the next day when the snow would begin to melt. Doing some work in Harford County I noticed their signs on many lawns in Joppatowne especially. Winter is slow for contractors. I reached out to Aero and they sent their sales guy out to the house, offered architectural shingles at a price not much higher than traditional shingles. They were honest with pricing and had the requisite guarantees on paper. Lumber was high at the time and shingles were about to soar 16%. The rep wasn't lying. A friend in real estate said his contacts couldn't meet Aero's price. The crew did their job. Mostly. Nearly nine months after the job I'm still finding nails and old tar paper around my house.
