Grand Roofing was the second company that I got an estimate from, the estimate from Grand Roofing was significantly less than the other company due to a lot less "padding" in the estimate from Grand Roofing and a more focused scope of work. For example, estimate # 1 wanted to replace all shingles going up the roof for maybe 15 feet whereas Grand Roofing replaced 3-5 feet where the leak was actually occurring. Another area of "padding" in the other estimate was 4 hours of labor ($553) to fix the other issues with my roof which were addressed by Grand Roofing in under an hour. I went with Grand Roofing: they fixed the leak and were able to address the other roof issues for a much more reasonable estimate. Hopefully I won't need a new roof for another decade but if I do I'm definitely going to be going with Grand Roofing again due to their honest business practices.

Shades slice seeding was brought up during a few of these landscape visits so we gave them a call. Cory met us at our house to discuss with us our options. He had so much knowledge and explained all our options to us, he was very detailed and straight forward. We went ahead and did an entire back lawn re-do. They killed what was there, brought in dirt, started treating the soil and slice seeded us. We are two weeks in to the slice seeding and I never thought I could be this excited to see grass. We finally got the yard we wanted, at a very comparable price to other options. Cory and his team took the time to do the job right the first time and not just fast, you can absolutely tell they all take pride in their work, and my new lawn shows that.

The fertilization treatments started quickly but I hadn't heard anything new about the landscaping project so I began calling/leaving messages weekly in April. By late May I was told the owner was stopping by to refamiliarize himself with the project. I know last year was busy so I waited a few more weeks. After not hearing anything by late June I called 2 more times-more promises on the phone but nothing ever happened. If I'd been told they couldn't do the project or I was just forgotten about I still would have had time to schedule someone to do the work before the season ended. It was a very important project to coincide with some other major improvements I was making at the time. While the fertilization service was fine my overall experience was a huge letdown made worse by the non-responses and broken promises to get back with me. I hate to write a bad review but if someone would have warned me the trouble I'd have to go to just to be lead on like this I would never have hired this company. It's now 2018 and I get an invoice that states service automatically continues unless I request it to end (not a big deal, I'm sure this is normal). So I email them to end service and wait a week-no response. Later I call and am assured a confirmation will be emailed. As I type this it's been 3 full weeks and still no confirmation-the pattern continues...

In my opinion , Antoine was not punctual nor tidy (the job site was a mess , documented with photos) nor communicated fully with me. I often did not know when he would be here , he said 10 and showed up at 11 for a few hours. I sent a few texts to him asking "do you plan on working on my deck this week?" I paid $4000 for material and now have been told they are not what is needed for the project. The plywood for the roof was actually sub-flooring. 04/29/2024 project started and after paying for materials , I was told another $4000 was due for labor that would be done. 05/01/2024 I prepaid labor charges of $4000 and that amount of labor was not done according to his bid. Due to my concerns about the quality/safety - I enlisted the help of a professional contractor. It was determined the load bearing post for the shingled roof was substandard, I have photos that show them 10 inches in the ground with no concrete footers. The Professional contractor had a conversation with Antoine who agreed the foundation needed to be redone. A building permit was not pulled even though my deck is 4-5 feet off the ground , Antoine said it was not needed. Most days he was here for about 3- 3.5 hours , a few days not here at all - weather was not the issue , I was told "admin day".. I was told that the enclosed deck would take about 3 weeks and at the end of 2.5 weeks , Demo was not even completed (again I have photos) He walked away with $4000 of my money. I ended up emailing him a letter of termination as I was not confident in his ability to complete this job according to code & that the finished covered deck would be safe. Home Advisor /Angie's list has attempted several times to contact him with no response from Antoine. AND HIS WEBSITE SAYS: "WE CARE"

Antoine was awesome! I was looking for someone on Google to help with our second home that we just…read morebought out of state. I knew no one and needed a leak repaired. Found a few handymen online but they all told me they wouldn't work in the evenings or weekends...the only time we were available. I saw Antoine's website and decided to call him. He answered all my questions and was willing to come over that evening to check things out. He diagnosed the issue and we set up and appointment for that weekend. He arrived on time and quickly got to work. Fixed our leak quickly and cleaned up his work space. His pricing was reasonable and he was very personable. Since I was out of state, he sent me pictures and a full detailed email of what he did. I was surely impressed. So much so I hired him again to fix an outlet behind our stove that was preventing the stove from sitting flush against the wall. He came back two weeks later and just like before made the repair quick and efficiently. Truly appreciated his professionalism. Will definitely be using him again.
