I was disappointed with my experience…read more I paid an additional $40 for a lift gate to be installed on my fence, but it was never installed. Matt told me he would come back to complete the work, but despite multiple text messages from my husband and me, as well as an email regarding an invoice discrepancy ($500 listed instead of the $540 I paid), the issue was never resolved. There were also other problems with the work. Tile around my bathtub was removed to inspect a faucet and was never put back, and one of the fence pickets that was repaired has already fallen off. Before leaving this review, I contacted the business through Yelp to give them one final opportunity to address these issues. Unfortunately, I never received a response. I understand that mistakes can happen, but what disappointed me most was the lack of follow-through and communication. I simply wanted the work I paid for to be completed or the $40 refunded, but neither happened. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.

I spoke with Erik, the Drain Man, early in the morning and he came out on the same day to address a…read morepretty serious clog. Our drains had produced this black oily sludge which Erik explained was the aftermath of years of oil and soap. It was truly a stressful mess. Early that morning, we actually had another plumber who used a traditional drain auger to attempt clearing the drain, but it did not work. Erik used a hydrojet that easily eliminated the black ooze. Afterwards, he used a camera to probe the inner guts of the drain to insure everything was clear. Erik is truly a professional and I will definitely have him back again to maintain these old cast iron drains. On top of that, his pricing is fair and reasonable. I recommend the Drain Man for all your clogged drain needs.
