Before scheduling, I confirmed with my insurance company that the facility was in-network for physical therapy. When I brought an outside PT referral, I was told the department only accepts referrals from its own physicians, so I scheduled an appointment and paid a copay solely to obtain the required referral. After following their instructions, I was then informed that the Physical Therapy department does not accept my insurance plan after all. Had I been told upfront that physician and physical therapy services have different insurance participation requirements--or been directed to verify coverage with billing--I could have avoided an unnecessary appointment, copay, and wasted time. What is most disappointing is the lack of acknowledgment or effort to resolve the issue. The problem isn't just the money; it's that patients deserve accurate information before being asked to schedule appointments and incur costs. I strongly encourage future patients to verify both physician and physical therapy coverage directly with the billing department before scheduling. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning.

I am planning on doing 6-12 sessions of Shockwave Therapy + Tecar Therapy Also considering 20 or so sessions of Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) + Red light therapy + localized cryotherapy UFC fighters like to get Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). Be careful because it can rupture your ear drums. I am considering 1 or 2 series of 40 mild HBOT sessions. I'll do those when I am taking BPC-157 and TB-500. You can check on Google or Amazon for some affordable red light therapy home devices. I didn't have a terrible experience with prolotherapy, it just didn't make a huge difference for me... If you Google "Ross Hauser Review - How to Ruin Your Life with Prolotherapy" there is a website warning you about him. I liked his style, and I noticed how he genuinely believes in his product and service. I thought he was a little condescending when I talked with him though. Danielle is the one who treated me, not Dr. Hauser. She is sweet and the staff members were all nice enough. It was a pleasant trip going to Fort Myers also. I just think getting multiple injections is riskier, more painful, more expensive than the alternatives I mentioned. I'm not a doctor or medical professional so do your own research, but IMHO I'd try the cheaper, less evasive alternatives above before trying Prolotherapy. Prolotherapy, PRP, and stem cell injections might help, but are painful, expensive, and I believe there is a risk of damaging your ligaments, creating ossification when doing them. Sorry Danielle and Dr. Hauser. I do wish you the best, but I'm more interested in saving patients money and risk, before fattening up your wallets. I kinda felt instead of telling me they were unsure how to help me they felt given the cost I'd incurred they had to tell me something? I saw PA Matt Walk - he was wonderful! Very nice, professional, thorough, and patiently explained everything. Everyone was very friendly and helpful - from checkin, X-ray, through checkout. Lexie and another of the medical assistants were also great! My cast was very thick and difficult to cut off. And although I hope to never see them again - I highly recommend!

I saw Dr. Flores after experiencing pain in my wrists and thumbs for more than a year. The treatments did not work and when I returned for a 3rd follow-up to tell him this, he told me "I don't know what to tell you." I explained that I was experiencing feelings of sadness and uncertainty about my condition, as having pain in your hands severely limits the activities you can engage in. Dr. Flores was not only dismissive, but downright rude, and said "why don't you talk to a therapist about that?" I have never been treated so poorly by a medical provider before. I went to another provider for a second opinion and she examined my hands and immediately asked me if I knew that my thumb joints were extremely hypermobile. I did not. Of importance, she moved my thumbs around and also told me that my thumb joints subluxate (partially dislocate) often and easily. She proceeded to tell me that I have a rather serious case (made more complicated by my younger age). And that if not corrected, my condition would turn into arthritis. If Dr. Flores did not know how to help me, it was his duty as a medical provider to tell me that, and help me find someone who could. Because there WAS someone who could. I sincerely hope that Dr. Flores reads this and if he ever meets a patient like me, or a patient who has a condition he doesn't know how to treat, I hope he does it differently and treats them with dignity and respect and helps the patient find a doctor who can care for them. I want to echo the person's post prior to mine and say that Dr. Flores has all of the markings of a misogynist. I would steer other women elsewhere.
