Brian Callaghan Licensed Tree Expert LLC came to my house to remove about 16 trees of various…read moresizes. Brian and his helper TJ came on time and got to work right away. They promptly and safely took down all the trees and were very organized in doing so. On the smaller trees, they both worked with their chain saws and then took the cut wood to either a very large truck or to a chipper. After an hour, Brian drove the filled truck to a recycle center while TJ performed the chipping of the wood. All the chips were thrown into a semi covered truck so there were no wood chips left on the property. While they were working, I had some 1 foot stumps of trees taken down previously by another company and when Brian saw those, he cut them much closer to the ground without my asking him to do so which was pretty considerate in my mind. When Brian left to take the wood to the recycle center, he told us that he was leaving and would be back in 1/2 hour so we knew what to expect. When he returned, there was an additional tree that I wanted to have cut down based on the fact that they showed me that it had a disease and was dying so they both worked on that (Brian was on a cherry picker cutting the tree top to bottom while TJ was taking the downed wood to either the truck or chipper). They tied each section of cut wood so that when it was separated from the tree, they could drop it to the ground safely and in a controlled manner. After all of that was done, they checked around the entire property and picked up all the smaller branches and the leaves that came off the trees and then used a blower to clean off all other debris. I was very pleased with the thoroughness of how they performed the work. They did a fantastic job and in fact, they will be coming back in the next week or two to cut down another very large tree which happens to be dying and is close to my house. I told them that I wasn't in any hurry and to just call me to schedule that based on their other work. I highly recommend Brian Callaghan Licensed Tree Expert LLC. The crew showed up 15 minutes early today, and the estimator and I talked with the crew leader about specifics of the job which entailed trimming up, cleaning out unwanted growth and limbs in two 115+ year old willow oaks, and trimming up three 20' Japanese maple trees.
