Unfortunately, he retired several years ago and this firm is still banking on his good reputation. I had recent dealings with Mr. Adam Rubin, the new head of this law firm. He was completely uncooperative and gave me information that any good attorney would know was incorrect. I went elsewhere. I do not recommend this law firm.

I'm the executor of the estate of a Sr. Citizen. Levine, Furman & Rubin wrote the deceased's will…read moreand I hired them for the administration of the estate. Levin Furman & Rubin did a great job of administrating the estate with the handicap of the pandemic when the courts, banks, etc. are slower than normal. They provided me with legal guidance to minimize the chances of problems. They also did all of the paperwork (and it's a lot of paperwork)! I did NOT need to babysit them. I did NOT need to ride them. They are professionals, they get their work done on schedule. Because of COVID and I live an hour away from their office, I never physically met them. They were fine via telephone, email and Zoom. While I hope to never be an executor again, if I should be an executor, I would hire them in a heartbeat. On a tangential topic unrelated to legal advise, I strongly recommend having a will, a survivor's report & pre-plan the funerial. If the deceased has a will it will save you time and money with liquidating & distributing the assets. You're going to circumvent a lot of problems with a will. Levine, Furman & Rubin did a fine job with the will. A lot of senior citizens have decades of papers in their house (99% of these are irrelevant). The executor will need to determine the assets and liabilities quickly. You need to have the senior citizen write down all assets (bank account numbers, brokerage accounts, life insurance, etc) and liabilities (loans, HoA, etc). This way the executor will have a neat list to give to the attorney to start the asset recovery process. Concerning pre-planning the funerial, this is a time of high stress & drama and all of your family's problems are going to quickly rise to the surface. Everyone will have their opinion of what the deceased wants. By having it pre-planned with your local funerial home, you will circumvent this drama at a time of high stress. It will be written with the funerial director exactly what the deceased wants and does not want. Now, just let the funerial director execute. I know asking for a will, survivor's report and preplanning is an awkward conversation. My sr. citizen told me "Everything you need is in the filing cabinet." I went into the filing cabinet and all I found was thousands of irrelevant papers including a warranty for a Sears refrigerator from 1977, cancelled checks from the 80's, receipt for a saw from Rickles and a speeding ticket for someone who's been dead for 15 years. I had to be the bad guy and tell the sr. citizen I cannot make the commitment to be the executor if she cannot make the commitment to support me while she's alive. I need a pre-planned funerial to avoid drama and a survivor's report with all information on it (1 piece of paper) so I do not have to waste days trying to find this information. She complied.

I cannot say enough. I have been a witness to the divorce process that a friend of mine had to endure, and part of the stress and frustration was getting their attorney to respond to emails, to work on their case in a timely fashion, to endure the endless waiting times as they waited on the attorney to draw up a letter or agreement or to update them on the status of something. It was infuriating at times but I just understood it at the time to be "just the way it is". I assumed lawyers are busy and they aren't always prompt.. But I was completely wrong. Either Robert or Dayna email me immediately upon hearing anything or receiving anything related to my case. When he has to reach out to the other parties lawyer, he does it asap, and is always the one making the attempt to get in touch and work on the situation. And his letters and the verbiage they contain are extremely professional and always portray that he is on my side and making every attempt to act in my best interest. He is kind but you know that he will go to bat for you. I could go on but Im sure I made my point. I will be forever grateful.

She truly has fought for my Mother in court and so far has done an excellent job. I'm so happy to finally find someone who is dedicated, smart, caring and also keeps us in the loop by sharing all e-mails/communication. Will update when this is all over but Claire has been beyond helpful so far. She is tough and calls out the false allegations and "bs" the other side keeps on trying to do. The other side has been, in my opinion, very sneaky and unethical (again, my opinion and experience) and Ms. Scully has no qualms in bringing actual facts to shut down claims made. Will update as the case goes on but so far I'd recommend her if you need an Attorney who is not afraid to speak up on your behalf and truly wants the best for you. She has no issues being tough if need be and that is exactly what we needed. Thank you!

I haven't written a yelp review in years and came back just cause Claire is that good. I have a very difficult case that most other attorneys didn't want to take. So whether you have an "easy" or challenging family matter, Claire Scully and her smart hardworking legal assistant, Felicia, will work hard, be involved, responsive, and dedicated! Plus she has great connections in and around Monmouth county and that always helps when you're attorney knows the right people to call!
