Another beautiful day here on the field! Weather was warm but turned cold by sunset! Be ready for the quick weather change at this field!! No complaints besides that!

The good: This was an amazing park with such a cool space theme. They went hard on the theme and had so many space elements. I've seen rocket ship parks before but this one is the best of them. It's extremely spacious. There are picnic bench areas as well. They also have a bathroom. It's next to a big baseball field and basketball court. There's a smaller play area for age 2-5 and the taller structure for 5-12. There are large grassy field areas. It's a bit hilly. There's plenty of parking in a private lot. I was happy there was no sand nor wood chips so it didn't get messy. The bad: It seems like the overhang or structure for shade above the picnic benches are under construction or removed. The interesting: There's a giant lion statue made of stone that my toddler loved. It's donated from Lion's Club.

Be careful There's alot of cayotes here Overall it's nice but dangerous Nice spacious fields

Mini cups of ice cream sold here! Very nice man and perfect portion for kids. $1.50 each

One of the cleaner parks that we have been to around the SGV area. Large grass area for kids to run around and a newer rocket themed playground that was recently built. There's a side for the older kids and right next to it a smaller area for kids ages 2-5. Observatory opened every Wednesday night.

Even tbough this park is small, it has a lot to offer. The park is well maintained and there's A LOT of parking with not one, but two lots on opposite ends of the park. There's also plenty of benches for parents to rest while the kiddos play on the 2 playgrounds here. There's a huge area of grass here. The lawn is well kept and always green. There's also 2 baseball fields and basketball courts. At the edge of the park, they also have tennis courts. At the front of the park, there are 3 huge gazebos with bench tables and sinks with running water. There's also charcoal grills here if you want a BBQ day. There's more than enough trash cans if you want to have a party here.

Went to the observatory tonight with a meetup group (thanks Randy!) and I had a great time! Very knowledgeable cosmologists there who showed us celestial bodies and gave us a great lecture. It was my first time there and I'll be going back for more planet and stargazing. Parking was a little bit cramped because there was a little league game taking place but not too bad. We were led up to the observation area by a narrow staircase.

Nice park! Covid-friendly as there is enough space to distance yourself from others. There is a loop track with a nice hill if you are a walk or runner. As per usual I left a #BeeTheReason rock in gratitude for the awesome workout this outdoor space provided for me.

    First playground

First time visiting this park. I was pleasantly surprised and it's now one of my favorite parks. Just enjoyed the vibe. It's spacious and clean.

Nice small neighborhood park with city observatory and adjacent tennis courts and several off-street parking spaces.

It gets crowded, so toddlers may enjoy nearby Primrose Park. A major plus is that the bathrooms are located inside the air-conditioned community center. My partner and I really enjoy coming here to play pickleball nowadays. There are 8 permanent courts. The courts are super busy on weekend mornings and less busy on weekdays. The queue system is fair and efficient. I only wish they would keep the pickleball courts open until later. They usually close around 8pm, which seems kind of early. In my opinion, this is one of the cleaner and better-maintained parks in the area. There is a pleasant walking path. I always see people walking their dogs here and families coming here for a stroll around the park. There are parking lots on both sides of the park, as well as plenty of street parking all around. However, when there are events going on at the park, parking can be a bit difficult.

Plenty of parking to park at, with some dim lighting, but the park itself was very bright. There were a lot of people on Friday night with a few spots open so this place is very popular! Super huge with a ton of space. You can tell it's very well-kept and there are restrooms too. I think the parking gets charged when there's an event going on, other than that I don't remember paying any money to come here. Overall would love to come back here again!

Unfortunately, the grass looked overgrown, and the overall area did not feel especially clean or well cared for. I also brought my dog, but I did not find it particularly enjoyable or convenient for walking. I mostly noticed a few groups playing soccer, but not much else that made the park stand out. One interesting part was seeing people test and fly small remote-controlled aircraft. It was my first time seeing something like that, so I did enjoy watching it. Still, I am not sure that alone is enough to justify paying an entrance fee. This is only my honest experience, but I left wondering what makes this park worth the entrance fee compared with other public parks.

They also had a big selection or drinks for the adults to choose from and snacks for the kids. Their restroom was clean and I really enjoyed that there was a nice comfy changing table and bags to put dirty diapers in. We were treated nicely by the girl who was working. I was hesitant to go to the playground based off the reviews of kids playing rough, which I did witness, but I can't blame the business for that. That comes down to the parents being an active participant in this activity versus parents allowing their kids the freedom to do as they please while they relax, drink coffee, and scroll their phone/ computer. I was present with my little ones and was able to stop the bigger kids from hurting them.

When I went to use the membership for the first time, I arrived with my two sons after checking the business hours on Facebook and Instagram. When we got there, a man was doing maintenance on the playground and told us it would be about an hour before we could enter. My son, who has autism, was understandably upset, so I took him next door to the pet store to help distract him while we waited. After an hour, we returned--only to be told it would be another 30 minutes. At that point, I asked if my sons' memberships were active through Regional Center. The employee flipped through a notebook and couldn't even locate one of my son's memberships. We left because my son's patience was gone, which is directly related to his autism. This entire experience left a very sour taste. If a business offers social recreation services through Regional Center, accurate hours and organized membership records are essential. What's even more upsetting is that I later discovered Regional Center was charged for six months of membership, even though we never attended or used the membership at all. I never signed a contract agreeing to ongoing charges. I also received a text stating the membership would not be active if we didn't attend--yet they still billed Regional Center. Also, never extended services. Between the inaccurate hours, lack of accommodation, disorganization, and billing issues, I would not recommend this business to Regional Center families.
