They had a giant 21' × 37' LED screen for the live viewing of today's match between Spain and Belgium , creating an incredible atmosphere for all the fans. The Fan Zone also featured cultural activities, live performances, DJs, interactive fan experiences, a community marketplace, and delicious local food. Best of all, I met fellow World Cup and soccer fans from different places, making the experience even more memorable. What an amazing day celebrating the beautiful game! We reserved our tickets on Eventbrite but we got there early with my friend, and even though we waited in line for more than an hour to get in, it was totally worth it! We were able to get in before it became too crowded. My friend also found us a great spot in the shade, so we stayed cool and comfortable with a nice breeze throughout the day. Meanwhile, many people who arrived later couldn't find any shade and had to sit out on the grass under the hot sun. We also received some awesome FIFA World Cup Fan Zone goodies, including a commemorative bracelet and a special team poncho. Such great souvenirs to remember this amazing experience! Only one con, they only have porta-potties, and they were very dirty. They still have the FIFA World Cup Fan Zone tomorrow starting from 12:30-9pm. I couldn't believe we were there for 5 hours. Congrats Spain advanced to semi-finals.

I'm in pain, having trouble walking and have a headache. Its's sketchy here. I'm more mad about the parking situation. I've been coming here for a long time and they keep charging me the wrong price. I have all these colorful tickets and some white ones. White ones are for handicapped and Senior. Colored ones are for regular people. They just can't seem to get it right and of course they do not refund the price difference but they keep making the same mistake. At this point, I think it's on purpose. The people in the white trucks are also annoying I don't know how many times they've come and sat in front of me. I thought it was maintenance, but I was told the office people who use the white trucks. Are they after a peep show? This park isn't always crowded it's usually pretty empty except for some weekends when they have games. So there's no reason for you to sit in front of a person with your car running being a lookaloo. Do you see my problem? With all these sketchy things that I see going on here you have really other better things to do than to sit in front of me. You should be harassing people who are on foot and on bike scouting the parking lot for an opportunity to steal something else. Or how about when they're harassing someone. Twice I've had an issue here with those people on foot and on bikes trying to steal. Where were you then? Where were you when my phone was stolen out of the front seat of my car? Where were you when the guy on the bike tried to steal my stroller? Where were you when someone tried to solicit me? My point is, if your trying to catch someone committing a crime, go do it. You don't need to be watching me watch a webinar, you're sure not protecting me from anything or anyone. What you can do is try and fix that water fountain that's been on for weeks. I still see the cones around it and tape but the water still running and it hasn't been fixed it's been running all summer. Probably either before then.

We went…read moreon the free day (first Friday of the month), but with that free ticket you only get 2 to 3 hours in the afternoon before the place closes, so it's a great taster to make you want to come again! Our kids ages 2 to 7 all had a great time! There was so much to do, from walking through the river and doing water play, to sand play in the pretend lake, to crafts (that we didn't have time for), to climbing equipment, and building/engineering/physics activities. Plenty of things to do both indoor and outdoor. The physics section is great for older kids too, even middle school (but the rest of the museum is definitely geared to elementary).

The Kidspace Museum in Pasadena is one of the better children's interactive museums we've been to…read more It has a huge, shared parking lot near Rose Bowl Stadium. Outside, there are two adjacent outdoor kid's playgrounds. Near the entrance they have juice and fruit vendors and a balloonist. Entry fee is very reasonable at under $50 for family of three with in-and-out privileges. Inside the museum, its like 80% outdoor exhibits and 20% indoor. They have an onsite cafe and food vendors throughout. The outdoor exhibits has a park area dedicated to physics. You'll see fans, pulleys, etc. to help your child appreciate scientific concepts while having fun. They also have tie-dye stations, climbing structures, tricycle race tracks, live music, and my son's favorites - the sandbox and pretend farmer's market and veggie patch. I noted lots of friendly staff dressed as camp rangers working with the kids and maintaining order with a smile, which is huge. Inside the buildings, you'll see traditional kid activities like toy trains, quiet reading areas, legos, and even more climbing structures. Looking forward to coming back next time we're in the area. The in-and-out policy is nice since they have lots of nearby offsite restaurants in nearby Old Pasadena.

Price: 3/5 This place is $25 per ticket plus about $20 for parking. It took about like an hour or so to walk through the whole exhibit. It was cute to do once, but I don't think I would come back. Food/drink: 3/5 They have food trucks and a bar on site. We got fries and two blacken (charcoal) margaritas. The fries were $10 and the margaritas were $14 but were very small. There's sooo many clothing stores and eating place in the mall that I been waiting for something…read moredifferent to pop up. This place answered that call. The goal is to use a weapon of your choice (pistol or 2 other rifles) to shoot down 6 targets, if you hit all 6, you win a prize (a medium sized plushie!). It cost $20 for 6 games. One game = 10 shots from your chosen weapon. In other words, you get 10 tries to knock down 6 targets, which I think is rather difficult since a few of the targets are really small. Whether you win or lose, you get a small prize (small plushie).The games can go by pretty quickly because after you shoot your first shot, you immediately want to shoot the other 9. As a person with no airsoft experience, I only hit 2 targets each game. The guns have almost no recoil and the shots aren't that loud, so it's a game that can be casually played with a date or your friends. You don't need to wear goggles or anything either. Overall the experience went by sort of quickly but was quite fun while it lasted.

I checked prices, and they were pretty steep, so I decided to go to other stores to see if I could get a better value. I knew there was a tokyo lifestyle store in this mall and other stores that had toys. I came across 6mm and saw the walls of toys in this store, and I found a hello kitty doll for less than the Sanrio store. The next time I come back, I will make sure to try out the shooting. I took my 2 teens to seaworld for the first time ever. We were enjoying ourselves until we got to…read morethe shipwreck rapids ride. For context my son is 16 and about 6'5. At the beginning of the ride he walked through the height checker with no problem and we asked an employee standing there if he was good or too tall. Employee says you're fine and sent us on. We waited in line 90 minutes. Get to the front. They proceeded to check his height again and let us go. Get seated and put our seatbelts on. The rides starts to move, then all of a sudden it stops and we're asked to get off because my son is too tall. We proceed to get off trying to talk to the worker named "Talajah" who was rude as hell. I asked for a manager and she ignored me. We ended leaving at that point. I went to guest services to speak to a manager ( gentlemen in wheelchair. Didn't get name ) who was not all that helpful either. He asked me to fill out a complaint sheet to send to corporate. I filled it out and he proceeded to give me three free snack coupons. I'd prefer my money back because I drive 2 hours and was there for about the same amount of time. Due to the bad service we left. We didn't get on any rides at all. I def won't be back.

The conductor Edgar is not as welcoming and his pace is off. It either is too fast, too slow and can jolt. The main reason the score is not higher is because it is a little run down and scenery is not maintained well.

On your way to the entrance , there are lots of vendors: food, aqua Fresca, clothing, hats, umbrellas, etc! So if you forget something at home, You'll be fine! Note/ there are people who protest at the front gate but they didn't bother anyone. Inside the zoo, there's a coffee bean truck, dippin dots, ice cream trucks , plenty of spots to purchase food , drinks, snacks, and refreshments. I saw a few grills and cafes as well. Overall look of the zoo echos many reviews left on Yelp, of it being run down and looking old and needing some maintenance. One thing to point out, the staff at ticketing gate didn't check my purse or diaper bag.... I would think just for security measures they would check pockets and bags. There is an area for kids / playground. There's also a small area where you can get up close with Vietnamese pigs and brush goats! There were no horses, elephants, or lions. I liked the how the zoo created an environment where it felt like we were traveling to Africa or North America , or Asia! I really like the Asian themed bamboos, and temple like structure! It was really hot, a lot of walking to exhibits that were either closed and or only had one animal. We waited for the giraffe exhibit and no one was there to help with the feeding giraffe experience! It's not advertised anywhere in the zoo so not sure if it's something that was still offered! Literally so surprised at how run down the zoo is and the lack of animals and exhibits being closed! Definitely disappointed.
