Parking towards the end of the day can be limited because the park is surrounded by homes. It doesn't look like the nicest neighborhood but this little park is so sweet. Don't be surprised to find many residents of the community doing dances and stretches and exercise in the morning. Many older women come in groups and go in walks. And there are people that come and use the smaller basketball court. The playground for the children is also well maintained. I've never used the restroom at that oark but there is one located right in the middle.

The area feels very safe and well lit. I saw people dancing, baseball and soccer teams practicing and many people going out on their daily walks. The parking was plenty at 11:30am, I parked on the street instead of the north lot. The first playground was on a hill and another on the corner southeast side across the pool/skatepark. They had sand around the play structure and swings, so be careful with sand everywhere. Restrooms are open, they have a couple spread out the park. Great park, plenty of benches to sit and shade in most areas depending on the time!

My family enjoys the picnic tables here. Recently we reserved several tables by the lake which under covering or pavilion. It's $165 for residents and we had it from 10AM to 4PM. We had a 6 year old birthday party with about 15 families in attendance. It was great! The kids LOVED the ducks, turtles, and play ground. It was nice to have tables and shade. Plenty of trash cans to throw away our trash. And plenty of parking for everyone. We all enjoyed it!

This park is a great gathering and refresh place for the community of San Gabriel for leisure exercise nature walks for children and adults alike. There is a couple of playgrounds located inside Vincent Lugo Park, one of which is La Laguna playground with huge animal shaped installments for children to play & explore and a regular playground with swings & climbing/jungle gyms. For adults, there are outdoor exercise equipment, which I saw are located in two separate places.. There are more nooks & crannies for me to explore that I may find in my next visit. Picnic tables are found some shaded some not, bbq grills, too. Additionally, there are covered tables and chairs as well for the community to hold parties or any kind of celebration. Walking paths are available, both cement & ground (clay-like). I noticed that there were a few sets of people doing tai chi-a few of them brought their music to coordinate their movements. It seems like small park tucked away, almost hidden. It's like a nature trail for me. I figure I could cut across the Alhambra Wash path to walk to it next time. Restrooms available, ample parking spaces. Lots of trees, greens. I love this "discovery"

There's plenty of parking in a private lot. I was happy there was no sand nor wood chips so it didn't get messy. The bad: It seems like the overhang or structure for shade above the picnic benches are under construction or removed. Pickleball courts are closed starting 5/4/2026 to 5/12/2026. Will reopen on 5/13/2026. 2) Baseball/Softball Field 3) Community Center 4) Gymnasium: Indoor basketball and pickleball courts (7pm - 10pm) 5) Restrooms: They're available. Not really clean though. 6) Teqball table: Don't see people use this table to play. I guess I'll watch this on youtube for now. Hopefully, one day.... I'll be able to see this sport in real life. They also have tennis courts on the side of the park and they also have lessons for those who were interested. Unfortunately, they recently implemented charging non residents during the weekends. I don't support this charge since public parks should be for everyone. Whether or not you are living in the city. Other than that come to visit during the weekdays when it's free!

The day I paid a visit it had just rained a bit in the afternoon then cleared out for the rest of the evening. Up above this hillcrest on any given day I suspect would be ideal for watching the sunset or perhaps flying a kite. There was a consistent light breeze which felt refreshing, free from the congested traffic down below. Among the offerings include a baseball field, a modern jungle gym, basketball courts, and tennis courts. Specifically, tennis takes priority over pickleball. Further up the hill there's a small Japanese garden with a gazebo which while a bit worn out has a lot of charm. Street parking was plentiful and it never got really crowded. One thing I noticed was that my mobile network became somewhat spotty, but 'tis a minor inconvenience. If I'm free, I'd love to visit more often.

There are 27 holes in all that are super enjoyable to play for a good walk in the park. I can see the benefits of having a cart for your discs, as the distances are longer than other courses. The ground is a bit uneven in lawn care with lumpy tall grass and ground squirrel holes. With so many holes it's rare to bunch up with other players so no need to ask to play through. There was one incident that was intimidating, a loud and pushy player filled with bravado came up to our group to give unsolicited advice and talk smack.
