I have been seeing Dr. Goff for awhile now. He is a wonderful doctor. Very caring and considerate. Extremely knowledgeable. He doesn't just give you a pill or a shot. I have had to wait at my appointment but i knew it was because he takes time with his patients and is not rushed. When he sees me, he is not rushed. To my wife and I, 5 stars for Dr Goff is a no-brainer. We moved from Minneapolis to Dallas and locating doctors is less that easy. After several "trials" we found Dr. Gary Goff and our doctor problems were over. Dr. Goff sat down with both of us - spent a lot of time with us finding out our medical history. He immediately "took charge" and within the three months (the time other doctors were saying "come back"), Dr. Goff had made several referrals and all test results were back. Yes, the wait time can be a bit, but he is very apologetic and truly takes the time to fully listen, answer all your questions, and administers thorough and accurate medical care, follow-through, and follow-up. Impossible dealing with the office staff, they are beyond incompetent. 3 calls that went to voice mail were never returned. They sent us downstairs for a shot and that office would not see us because we were not a patient of theirs, which makes sense. Then why the hell did Dr. Goff send us down there. And they frequently dont answer the office phones and calls left in that voice mail went unreturned also. And the wait times are ridiculous. We will be finding another doctor. read more

Honestly I have been trying to "become" a patient for about 2 weeks. Emails are not answered, voice mails not answered, and that's after multiple tries. I have been a patient at Dr. Goff's office for several years. He is a top notch physician who is so knowledgeable about any health condition I have had over the years. His brain is like a computer in that he can tell you so much information about diseases and testing and what is new and cutting edge, it is truly remarkable. I see many reviews about having to wait and this is true. However, that is because he takes the time to talk to you and go over your lab work or other testing so that you understand what you need to do to become healthier. I have had other Dr.'s who are walking out the door as you are still asking questions. I know waiting is hard to do but for the right Dr. it is worth it. read more

They just don't care.... this review is not regarding Dr. Goff, I liked his energy, he listened and is pretty funny! However, after my 2nd and 3rd visit, I left with the notion they could not care less!! I was told to come into the office, in pain, and was turned around and sent to the ER, to only be told my doctor needed to see me! A month later, same issue, I talk to the wife, or office manager or boss ( her exact words as to who she was when I asked to talk to the nurse practitioner, WHO ACTUALLY LISTENS, and expressed empathy, she only had to say come in, even after I tried multiple times to explain I came in last month, doc sent me to the ER, same exact issue, she say come in, she was rude, rushed me off the phone, cut me off ( because she know what she know, right) never once offered and alternative to my problem, she didn't try and understand or even ask the level of pain I am in, SHE OFFERED NOTHING!!! Just come in, to be told, go to the ER! Why have a primary doctor if you are only going to be sent to the ER? In a pandemic where these hospitals full and not safe?! I found myself yelling just to get her to understand I didn't have a problem coming in but that I KNEW the doc wouldn't see me I would be sent to the ER, just like last month, she didn't care, she was frustrated with me which is odd because I'm the patient IN PAIN!! And ultimately hung up with no resolve. So this is now twice this office has left me crying, in pain, without help and the only option is go to the EE? I have been going to Dr. Gary Goff for about two years now since my long time Doctor passed away. I think Dr. Goff is a quality physician who very much cares about his patients and wants to make sure their health is taken care of. This is the worst doctor's office ever - from the providers to staff. It is complete incompetence at every level. 1) False billing. I've met with them twice and have had to argue with them and the insurance company because they billed for things they didn't do to increase their billing from the insurance company. They also sent the same set of blood tests to their own lab and to an out-of-network lab. I don't know why the blood was sent twice for the same results. But obviously the insurance company refused to cover this and it fell on me to pay. 2) Incompetent providers. How difficult is it to write for medications? I tell them what I take and they send it to the pharmacy (none of them are controlled substances). But they manage to write for it incorrectly and I can't get them filled (and I know I didn't write them wrong because I have to be a physician myself). 3) Medication refills. This was requested for a week ago. They told me they would refill it but then don't. They also stop answering phone calls at 4pm which is ridiculous since most offices close as 5pm. read more

I have had superb service and care from Dr. Goff and his staff on multiple occasions from treatment for pneumonia to an annual physical and ordering medication refills. Dr. Goff, his nurse practitioner and nurses are competent, well trained, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. They have a proficient computer system for recording the patient's medical history and diagnoses. In particular, I appreciate the time that Dr. Goff takes to explain in understandable terms the patient's medical conditions and to answer questions. It's truly a learning experience. Dr. Goff also participates in advanced medical research programs and educates aspiring doctoral and nurse candidates. His practice is an example of modern medicine and patient care. read more

The worse doctor's office I have ever dealt with. They can't get anything done correctly but they can definitely sell you (just like a used car salesmen) whatever equipment or procedures they can make extra money on. The staff is rude and incompetent. They can't even find my CT scan order in their system but when I call the diagnostic imaging center, they have a copy of the order with his name on it. His wife / office manager doesn't know how to deal with patients but she has a lot of time to come and talk to us about selling one of their procedures. The staff puts you on hold over 15 mines and never pick up. When I call back, they are rude and non apologetic about their behavior. Also their lab has sent me an invoice of $3800 for a routine yearly check up and apparently the office manager / his wife says it's a mistake somebody will call me in a few minutes but of course it's been hours and body has called to fix this issue. Bottom line, STAY AWAY from this office. All the bad reviews are accurate and on point and I agree with all of them. I will file a complaint with Medical board as well. read more

Yes, sometimes you have to wait because he spends time listening to his patients, but I will take that over someone who is a robot. Being new to Dallas, I was very eager to find a doctor in the area. Unfortunately, the experience was not enjoyable nor professional. The wait time over my appt time started things off on the wrong foot. Also after leaving the office, I went to have my prescriptions filled. Some issues arose with the pharmacy. I called the office to get some advice on how to deal with the issues. I was made to feel like I was bothering the office. I was put in voicemail for one of the nurses. She never returned any of the three voicemails I left over a week and half. I finally called and spoke to the office manager. She was not sympathetic nor apologetic. I then finally got to speak to the nurse I left the voicemails for previously. She did not apologize for not returning my calls. She proceeded to tell me how I had called "numerous times" and had spoken to the someone. I explained that I had yet to get any of my questions answered and had she returned my calls, she would have known that. The entire experience is just not what I hoped for. I have never had a similar experience with a doctor's office. I decided to cancel my next appt. I will try to find an office that has time when a problem does arise with a patient. I do not like being made to feel like a problem because the pharmacy did not accept paperwork with an electronic signature and because one of my medicines was not covered by my insurance so I needed a substitute. read more
