We ordered the shoestring onion rings which were very soggy. Should have sent them back to have them crisped up. Next time I will make sure I tell them I want them done very crispy . Our service was excellent. Our waitresses name was Kala. She was spot on with everything. The ambiance is always the same.

I can't believe I forgot to write an updated review from my visit recently…read more I hadn't been here in years but my husband wanted to try the All You Can Eat Fish Fry. We chose to sit on the patio since the weather was nice and I don't care for how dark it is inside the restaurant. Our server was great: friendly and attentive. I got the BLT which was fine. I didn't care much for the mayonnaise they use, but the bacon was cooked as I requested (crispy) and there was a lot of it! I liked the fries that came with it. My husband really enjoyed the clam chowder that came with his meal as well as the fish and fries. The hush puppies were small and dry but those tend to be almost everywhere. His first round of fish was so filling he didn't even want or need a refill. The star of the show for me was the cheese quesadilla appetizer. Not only was it huge, but the pico de gallo inside made it very flavorful. It came with a very generous helping of sour cream and guacamole as well. I liked it so much I might have that as my meal next time so I don't have to share but I want to try some other menu items too so we shall see. Either way, we will be back soon.

It works like this: They have about 100 wines set up to taste in a semi-circle around the store. A woman at the door checked our IDs, took our $5, and gave us a list of wines at each station. Everything being tasted was on sale for the day -- a minimum of 5% off with bigger discounts for larger quantities, up to 24% off. And then we were handed our "Wine Thing" wine glass (not to keep, alas) and a small bag of pretzels and headed in. This is not a huge store, so it was pretty crowded. But the people pouring the wines were as friendly and helpful as they could be, given the circumstances. And everyone was nice enough about letting people by, lubed up with good wine. Still, we had to emerge from the crowd every so often to get a little fresh air. But besides simply having more space for this event -- or maybe doing timed tickets or something? -- it's a GREAT way to taste a ton of wines from knowledgeable people and find a new favorite or two. :)

Quick update in response to MaryBeth's review from July 17, since I was at the brewery at the time…read moreand saw the whole thing. Two young girls were repeatedly running in and out of the restrooms, slamming the doors, yelling, and disturbing other customers nearby. A staff member asked that the behavior stop. Instead of acknowledging the issue and correcting them herself, MaryBeth took exception to the correction and doubled down. I stayed long enough to see how it played out. Despite what she implies, no one was cited or charged with anything. The police responded, made it clear they were uninterested in the situation, and everyone went on with their day. People can certainly have different opinions about how the situation should have been handled, but this review does not accurately reflect what I witnessed. Most parents either wouldn't allow their children to behave that way in the first place or would simply correct them and move on. Writing a review that misrepresents what happened is another matter entirely.

A small brewery in a haunted place that is giving me a total home vibe you so know I'm all for it!…read more Right here was where it was at from the start as this was a was a kinda spontaneous adventure here and I must say I'm happy we came as they have one of the best sours I've had in their BOUJIE FRÜT as it was rich in berry taste as well as a bit tart definitely a really good beer along with the others in our flight we just enjoyed them on their very mellow patio! A good brewery will always have yummy food too and right here I must say they totally are doing that with their burgers if then we went with the bacon and guacamole burger and it was just what it should be cooker perfect and full of flavor with each bite of our burger goodness. The bartenders here were friendly and fast to serve everyone on a busy night which I can tell this place gets busy on the weekends as we were here early on a Friday and it was already getting packed. Overall this is a great local brewery with good food and beers it's the type of place I would frequent if I lived in the area!

I had the pimento dip, the 3 cheese breadsticks, and the baguette with fig spread and honestly considered canceling the rest of my day and just living there. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtful, and ridiculously good. The bread was perfect, the cheeses were rich and flavorful, and the fig spread with the baguette deserved its own fan club. The drinks absolutely held their own too. The Summer Spritz was crisp and refreshing, while the sangria came in with a polite smile and then quietly reminded me to respect it because wow, it was strong and delicious. Beyond the food and drinks, the whole place has this warm, beautiful French market vibe that feels cozy, elevated, and welcoming all at once. Great atmosphere, amazing flavors, and the kind of spot that makes you start planning your next visit before you've even paid the bill. Highly recommend.

They also sell everything else you might need to create a charcuterie board, like wine, jams, chocolate, bread, and crackers. I still need to try one of their sandwiches.
