Every time I call or visit it's always a pleasure. I actually called the week before my appointment because I needed an emergency set of contacts (I had wearing my glasses at the gym) and Kim help a pair for me to pick up after I got off work. I was extremely appreciative and relieved. My eye exam went well. A pleasant surprise was that they don't have that machine that blows the air in your eye anymore (I HATE that thing). They have a new device that's a lot better and it doesn't blow any air whatsoever (yay, it's the little things). My prescription pretty much stays the same and everything checked out well. The doctor and staff was pleasant and Megan was amazing. She made I had my prescription on a little card so I can order my funky glasses AND she explained all my vision benefits. They also allowed me to take an old magazine home so I can try a lavender/lemon bar recipe. I told them if they turned out good I'd bring them some back. :) Overall the experience was easy and quick. I was given a few samples to try out for contacts. On my third sample, I was good. We finalized my prescription, and I ordered the contacts. I received the contacts. They did not work. I contacted them to verify my prescription was correct. They said yes. I contacted the MFR and they sent me a new set of contacts. Still no good. I contacted the DRs office to get me prescription rechecked and they said "Sure, but it will cost you out of pocket". All I wanted was to verify the prescription. I was told nope. Sorry. So basically, I was out the cost of the contacts because they are unusable to me and unable to go see another DR unless I pay since I used my insurance visit for the year. Clearly, they did not update my prescription to the third sample and did not care to help me out. Plenty of other eye DRs out there.
