The charge was if they see you, not just for the phone consult, and he apologized for the incorrect information. I was so impressed with the speed in which he responded and got me in immediately, as well as a follow up appointment for two days from now. So glad they followed up with great care after the mix up, I wanted to update my review for the positive. I got poked in the eye by my son and tried to call the on call doctor. They informed me that it would be $169 just to be connected to the on call doctor. I find this to be absolutely absurd that for an eye emergency I can't even talk to someone. What absolutely terrible customer service, I have never once had to pay in order to talk to someone for an eye emergency. Shocking, beware if you're thinking of becoming a patient there, hope you never need someone after hours.

While getting excellent eye care and answers, they don't mind lots of talking or even if something said does not come out just right, they are good with people just being people. This creates an environment that is hard to find these days, leaving you feeling amazing afterward and inspired to keep it going in your next environment. I don't know how their prices compare but I do know using my glasses and contacts reminds me of really great people that I am grateful to interact with. Also Dr. Avila, who advises me, has always given great advice and has been one of the best doctors I have ever worked with.

I went to pick up my new lenses for my glasses today after waiting over two weeks for the new lenses to be done. Erica told me the lenses did not fit my glasses and they had to be retraced in order for a new set of lenses to be ordered, which is going to take another two weeks!! Why was this not done correctly the first time??!!! Last year, I had to get a new set of glasses and lenses and the lab scratched my lenses and I had to wait about three and a half weeks to get the glasses!! When I did finally get the glasses, the lenses were scratched up!! I had to get the lenses fixed again!! This is ridiculous and unacceptable! The only reason I am still coming here is because of Dr. Megan Avilia, the optometrist. She is delightful and a pure joy to be around. Unfortunately, it looks like I am going to have to find another optometrist. I am not going to put up with this anymore. The location needs to find new professional staff to work in the lab who know what they are doing. I would not recommend this particular location for your vision care. The check in process was smooth and very organized. They sanitize your hands as soon as you arrive, take your temp and have a spot for clean and used pens. The rooms were nicely decorated to give you a good vibe. I scheduled for eye exam and contact lens exam. I am a first time contact lens user. I had an exam last year with another eye doctor's office but I felt like I did not get enough support, patience and teaching from the other eye doctor's office and hence I did not continue/succeed with using contacts last year. But as the famous song goes, "If at first you don't succeed, brush yourself off and try again". Not sure if those are the exact words to the song but you get what I mean.lol. And yes so I did try again and scheduled an appointment at visionelle eye care. I am so glad did! I should have chosen them in the first place! Believe all the good reviews you hear and read about Dr. Thomas! She is amazing! Let's face it, going to an eye doctor appointment is not really something a lot of people look forward to doing. I actually dread it that's why I appreciate all the little things and every effort this office does to make patients feel more welcome and comfortable. I could really go on and on about how awesome Dr. Thomas is. She has great bedside manner! She is very personable, her smile and laugh is contagious! She took her time to get to know me, my concerns, family history and the entire exam itself was done with lots of care. You feel like you are talking to a friend and she really made me feel at ease. She was very patient and supportive while I was trying to muster the courage to put the contacts in and out of my eyes. I did not feel pressured and I was constantly reassured by Dr. Thomas that I can do it. She really took the time to be there and coach me. I did not get that kind of support from my previous eye doctor. Hence, I think Dr. Thomas being really supportive helped me a lot to successfully get the contacts in and out this time! I really don't have the right words to describe how thankful I am to Dr. Thomas. Being able to wear contacts even if just on some days is life changing for me. If you are reading this, go ahead and schedule your appointment. As a fellow human being, I would also like other people to have a wonderful eye exam so I am sharing my experience. Rude handling of our issue. Refusal to work with us to bill it correctly and refusal to even consider the possibility that they made an error, even with our verification of full coverage in place at the time of coverage. He remembers details about me and checks in on a personal level during the exam and truly listens to my concerns. Exams are thorough, and Dr. Potter is honest--he has told me when my prescription changed very little and I didn't need new glasses. I don't feel like they pressure you to buy an expensive pair of new glasses just because you're there, which I can't say for some other places I've gone. The rest of the staff is also SO friendly and they make the visit fun. There is a huge selection of very cool frames with a good price range. Glasses can be expensive anywhere you go, but you can get a nice pair here reasonably priced or you can get pricier designer frames, as well. I have done both and been satisfied. I love it here!
