My teeth were scrapped clean rather than using the ultrasonic tool. I felt as secure on that point as I could. Regarding Dr. Benish, he is a highly skilled dentist who has a lovely, efficient and caring staff. He spent a great deal of time explaining what he going to do, and what will happen. I decided to make an appointment. Got one within a week as a new patient. When I went- filled out my papers and in the chair in no time! I LOVED that I was given sunglasses to shield my eyes from the light! And I loved that the dentist does his own cleanings. And I like that he hums softly while he does his work. I like that he shows you your X-rays and tells you how it is and is confident. Even though this is my 1st visit- I really felt like he knows his stuff. Dr. Navi himself is very knowledgeable and calm, he immediately gives you a sense of relaxation and feeling that you are in good hands - I had 2 visits including one large chipped tooth and filling that was an hour long procedure which went smoothly, and I am still happy with it 6 months in. My husband had seen Dr. Navi for more complicated scenarios and was very pleased with the service and honesty in communication. The insurance companies and billing can be complicated for various procedures and they take time to ensure all communication is clear so you know what you are paying for. I was genuinely shocked, because I expected the issue to be resolved, not made more painful.
