I went here for my first appointment due to a toothache, and I couldn't have had a better experience. The office was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. The front desk representative was very friendly and greeted me with a smile. After completing my paperwork, I was taken back quickly. The hygienist asked me about my tooth pain and was incredibly kind and empathetic, which immediately helped calm my nerves. The dentist then came in, introduced herself, and took the time to listen to my concerns. She quickly identified the cause of my pain and explained that my wisdom tooth needed to be removed. I was extremely nervous, but Dr. Lagomarsino was absolutely amazing. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire process. I didn't feel the needle or any pain during the extraction. I was honestly shocked that I went through with it so easily, and at one point I even thought I could have the other one removed as well--that's how comfortable the entire staff made me feel. After getting a crown cemented for a second time in 5 months that she didn't originally do I was told that she would not do any work on my teeth at all. The reason she gave was that i needed a lot of work which isn't true. The most I would need are some cavities filled, a cleaning and a possible extraction. I was not given a exact reason for me being dumped as a patient. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. So now I have to find another dentist. I have removed the positive review that I wrote 5 months ago. Please people be careful this could happen to you. read more

I love Dr. L. Funny, compassionate, and great at her job - I would hate to have to see a different dentist. Everyone in my family goes here as well as my husband and we all love her. She has pretty flexible hours and has fit me in at a moment's notice when I'm having an issue. I've never had insurance issues, billing issues or issues of any kind with the exception of a dental hygienist who was a bit too rough one time, but I later found out she was a temp. I have nothing but positive things to say about her or her office. read more

I came to Dr. L for a second opinion after having a less than pleasant experience at my local dentist in Manhattan. I have a lot of "dental anxiety" and avoided going to the dentist for many years, which resulted in multiple cavities and gum disease. Dr Lagomarsino is a fantastic dentist. I was able to get an appointment and see her the next day! She is funny, compassionate and she also gives a little warning shot out when things might get a little scary, but she has a soothing voice which puts you at ease! My crown fell out recently and I thought that I would have her just glue it back in, however she immediately discovered that it had been placed over an old infected root canal. The remaining tooth had also split in half! I am really glad she picked this up because it could have been far worse. She is professional, quick and told me what she was going to do every step of the way. I had very little pain after the root canal and didn't even have to take any pain killer. Her chairside manner is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and caring. She's very funny and smiles a lot. You can tell she enjoys being a dentist. Explains things clearly. Puts me at easy every time. Her fees are very reasonable. Her work is excellent--judging from her reputation and my own results over the years. I have a great time each time I see her. Very happy with Dr L and her staff. Started seeing her earlier this year hoping she could jump in and fix the mess my last dentist had left me in. She's doing a great job. She's thorough, knowledgeable, professional yet very approachable, funny too...and she LISTENS. Oh yes, also very kind. I'm 76 and have had tons of dental work. Dr L is the first dentist who gives me a tiny shot of the local anesthetic to numb the area before unloading the entire syringe. Much more effective than a swab of a topical before the shot. Why didn't I give her 5 stars? The parking is sometimes a problem, and I am mobility challenged. read more

I was recommnded to Dr. L. by a long time patient of hers who I casually know. My own dentist who retired a few years ago sold his practice to a group who I did not care for. Since that time I have seen about three other dentists. It is difficult for me to find a dentist that I am comfortable with as I have had extensive dental work done over the years. I find Dr. L to be very caring, good at what she does and what I do like about her is that she does not push work on you. She will tell you what needs to be done and then recommend a course of action and she will be honest with you about whether it is a dire emergency or the work can be done at a later time. Let's face it dental work is very expensive and in these times unforutnately somethings need to wait and other things are more of a priority. I find her rates are very reasonable and I have never had a problem with her office submitting insurance claims. I do like Dr. L and I hope that she is around for a long time. read more
