Very gentle, on time. Wifi connection for patients if you have to wait for a few minutes. Highly recommended for the entire family!

I had my first visit to Aspen Dental yesterday. I should have taken the reviews seriously, and if I…read morehad done so I would never have darkened their doorstep. First the positive. The people were all friendly and professional. Getting the appointment was relatively easy, though I did not know what to expect. I arrived about 15 minutes early for my 3:00pm appointment. At 3:00 I was escorted into the X-ray room where the tech took approximately 20 X-rays. (I didn't count them so it might have been a few more or less.) After the X-rays I was escorted into the exam room where I waited for 35 minutes until the dentist came in to begin the exam. We discussed my issues, two broken teeth, would require extraction and in addition there were two missing teeth that would either get a bridge or implants depending on my budget. In addition, he found several cavities that he said would require filling. After the exam I was taken to see the office manager. She presented me with 2 documents. Each included the total for option 1 and option 2. Option 1 was for the bridge and option 2 was for the implants. The documents were totals only and did not include any detail. I thanked her and head home. Upon reaching home I got my reading glasses and began to review the documents, and upon discovering the lack of detail I phoned the office manager to inquire so I could be sure that everything was covered. I was informed that until I sign the agreement to commence treatment I would not be able to see the detail. I was a little confused so I asked again to be sure I understood. "You mean I cannot know what I am agreeing to until I have signed the document indicating my agreement?" The answer was "Yes." Needless to say, that does not seem right to me. I was not allowed to review all of the items we discussed. It also seems wrong to me that a cleaning would be required before any treatment would begin. Same can be said for the X-rays. Since I had not agreed to service why were X-rays so critical. The bottom line was a cost of over $13,000 for bridge work and over $16,000 for implants. With no way of knowing what other incremental costs would be involved I cannot in good conscience return for any dental work. Caveat Emptor!

On arrival when I checked in the young girl at the counter sighed at me giving her my name and said "I was going to call but didn't get around to it" and she had to cancel my appointment due to the X-ray being down. She was unapologetic and gave me another dentist to go to who also couldn't get me in for another couple days. This being my only day off and being in pain for several days already waiting on this appointment I had to find an emergency dentist to take me in. I HIGHLY recommend 24/7 dental who took me in asap and gave me the help I needed and with a smile on their face.

So I'm a moron who chipped a tooth a yr ago, never got it fixed when I should have got infected and…read morehad to have it yanked. My periodontist told me when he first saw it that I needed to get it taken care of, 8 months later he told me if I didn't get it taken care of I would lose the tooth. Did I tell you I was a moron? Went to see Dr G asked if he could save it, said he could try but probably would still lose it. Now I've always been pretty proud of my teeth, braces and all the originals in place. My face is my money maker, tooth was right in the smile line, got a bridge put in. 3K but can you put a price on beauty? Obviously you can and it costs 3K. Finally after a few weeks of delay I got it set yesterday. Pretty good. Pretty, pretty good. I can't even tell where it is, totally seamless. Even the girls in the office agreed or maybe because I'm their boss, who knows? Dr G is a-ok in my book, used to be a former customer of mine as we recognized each other immediately. Here's the kicker if I would have gotten it fixed right away, $200 and no problems but because I'm a moron 3K. Did I tell you I was a moron?

Now a specialist has confirmed that the root canal was "less than ideal." He left an entire root untouched. In one, he put the white filling too straight and not following the curved path of the root. This ordeal will cost me thousands.
