The butchers here are knowledgeable and eager to help with any meat-related questions. I asked him to cut the chuck roast into packages of steaks for me so they gave me in each package 2- 2 pound slabs of meat so four pounds per package. How is that cutting into packages of steaks so I defrost them I have to cook 4 pounds of steak. I bought a quarter of a beef from them last year and they sent it through Nephi and it was awesome. I got well well over 140 pounds of meat at least 60 pounds of burger last year this year. I only got 30. I understand it was a smaller cow. I just feel like I got taken by these guys this year.

I was very impressed with the packaging. It's labeled well. It's sealed well. The quality is perfect. They also brought everything out to my car and loaded it for me. I let them know i was splitting the cow with a friend, so they broke everything up in half and put it into thick black bags so it was very easy to split up. Totally worth the 1.5 hour drive! It was taken to Circle V meats for processing. I called them a week before and told them how I wanted it cut. I'm very fussy and borderline ridiculous in my requests. Not only did they do exactly as I asked they had it ready and wrapped and brought it to my car and loaded it. I'm squeamish when it comes to meat processing plants. This place is huge and amazing When I heard about all of the meat packing places shutting down I was beyond thrilled to buy local and know where the animal cane from and what it ate. You don't need your own animals they only buy locally grown animals and there are many farms in this area so they have plenty of meat in stock to purchase at reasonable prices.
