WHO IS THIS GIRL IN THE PICTURE??? I have never seen her!! I shop here all the time! No problems, food is good and this location is very handy. I lived close to this location. They even have fresh sushi! I highly recommend this store especially if you need milk or just a few items you can get in and out pretty quick'! I don't know who the girl is in the picture, don't know why she's there. As far as I know she's not Gary the owner of the stores here! I think there should be a picture of the store, not her! Also yesterday I checked this store on Yelp and it said it was permanently closed!THAT'S NOT TRUE!!! IT NEVER WAS CLOSED! Like I said I shop there all the time!!! Nice store!! read more

I can find products here that the big superstore no longer carries. They make their own sausages and brats (flavors I would never have imagined!) and their staff has always been friendly and helpful. The shelves are always well stocked (and I always see WIC products identified). I'm thankful we have an alternative to the big superstore! read more

I'm from Lakewood Colorado and shop at Whole Foods on a weekly basis. I'm from North Platte till I was 13 then moved to another part of Nebraska. My whole family lives here. I went to Garys the other day because I thought I would get some good meat and deli items that i wouldn't get at Walmart. I was greeted by the nicest woman in the deli and she was beyond accommodating and so kind and amazing customer service. I am here to take care of my father because he just had back surgery and also its 2 days before Thanksgiving 2019. The deli and rest of the store was excellent. Yes their prices are more expensive but I was ok with that. I mean what do you expect it's family owned and you must keep up with the big chains to be able to stay open. Ive never encountered a problem here. It was the day of the snow storm I didn't do my makeup or put on any nice clothes. Snow boots ect. When I went to check out I asked if she needed my phone number she literally yelled at me, "no, I'll tell you when I need it" well shoot my bad I thought. Then she got got done and it was like 80.00 and I was bagging my own groceries which I don't mind doing and I asked her again if she wanted my phone number. She abruptly looked at me and said"I'll tell you when I need it!" Ummm what I wanted to say. She then told me ok now you can give it to me. So i started off with 303 which is the area code in Colorado and she looked at me and said is that the area code.. yes it is. She punched in my 10 digits then said that number does not exist... I looked at her and said Ive used this number for the past 5 years and I get emails all the time with your ads. She told me well it's not a number in here. I wanted to slap her and say your rude and just walk out. But I needed these groceries for my daddy and it was snowing heavily. She told me the total again and I asked can I give you my father's phone number she typed it in and then had the audacity to ask me " What's his name" I told her and she then said "ok" I wanted to say wth is your problem. She didn't even say thank you after I said thank you to her. Whoever owns this business should invest in more quality help at the cashiers check out. Or fire this snot!! Cause she obviously hates working here or maybe my Hispanic heritage doesn't work for her. Funny thing is I guarantee I make 10 more money than she ever will. Don't judge a book by its cover. And I hope she gets a new attitude life is way to short and is epic. I told my aunts about this and they said they almost knew who she was bc she acts like that too them as well. I can't believe Garys allows such behavior. I won't be going back just bc of this. What a shame. I'll bring my Whole Foods in a cooler and spend my money there instead and go to the local Wal Mart in NP. read more

Rude cashiers and incompetent managers. Prices are too high and if you are on any kind of food assistance (Food Stamps or WIC) they treat you very poorly and don't keep allowable items in stock and won't even look in back or give you anything to substitute. I have tried many times to give them the benefit of the doubt but today was the last straw. They have lost our families business. Don't waste your time just for the location convenience. read more
