As it was the holidays (and a weekend), I sent a message to Rick via his website and left a message. He called back quickly and spoke with us over the phone to diagnose the problem. (This was after a large, well-known plumbing company that serviced the area told me their plumbers were quite busy and would need to charge me time & a half since it was after-hours. To their credit, they did offer suggestions for other local plumbers...but after researching, those plumbers didn't have great reviews...unlike Heritage Plumbing). Rick gave advice on purchasing a new faucet from Home Depot and scheduled time to see us the next day, which was very nice since he was technically not planning to return to work for a few weeks. Rick arrived on time, was thorough in his installation of the faucet (& cleanup), and was fair with his pricing. He was also very friendly and a nice guy. After consulting…read morewith an electrician, it was determined a plumber would be needed and not an electrician as troubleshooting revealed a bad pump-we've lived in the house for 11 years so they pump could've been installed back when the house was built in 2002? Enter Rob from Steadfast plumbing. Scheduling an appointment with Candy was straightforward and easy. She was very helpful answering any questions I had & was able to schedule an appointment sooner than expected. This put me at ease as the pump has been inoperable for a week already & we're in the midst of the rainy season. Rob arrived at the scheduled time and we discussed the issue. He presented me with a plan & estimate which i agreed to. The price was reasonable so i approved the work. I don't envy Rob's job as he had to crawl into the crawlspace in a few inches of standing water to remove the old pump & install (to my surprise & pleasure an American made unit) the replacement. Using his years of experience and knowledge, he remedied my problem issue in short order. After all was said & done my sump pump is back in operation & performing as expected. For any future plumbing needs, Stedfast will be my go to company!
