Absolutely not okay, I went in with my girlfriend and sister to get walk ins. Immediately when we walked in, there was absolutely no sense of customer service or kindness at all. There was no introduction, no hello. He was rude and sarcastic right off the bat. My girlfriend and sister were trying to make conversation and clarify details about their tattoos and he reminded short and snippy with them the whole time. About 3 minutes into my girlfriends tattoo I ask him how long he has been tatting, and he goes sarcastically, "ohh, it's probably been about 4 minutes." I laughed it off and said "Well you know what I mean..." he then said "ohh just leave me alone man I don't wanna go through the entire interview process" so I just shut up. Then he goes, "It's bad enough I have you standing over me..." So me and my sister back up trying to be respectful and he then goes " I usually don't work like this." By that time I had left the room and texted my sister, who was still in the room holding my girlfriends hand. I said "We are leaving after this and you shouldn't get a tattoo here" She texted back saying she had already decided she wasn't going to go through with her tattoo and that she was extremely uncomfortable. After my girlfriends tattoo finished, she asked if he took card payments, he said "no cash only." We sent my sister to the closest ATM to pull out cash. While she was gone he continued on by talking about the area and how they have a lot of "negros" in the area. That is so profoundly disrespectful, I was baffled. Once my sister got back she stepped into to room and said "I think I changed my mind for my tattoo, so I think we are just going to pay for hers and then be on our way." He then went on to say sarcastically and rude, "Okay, we'll thanks for wasting my product and my time... i really appreciate it." My sister didn't say anything else. He continued to walk away to get change for my girlfriend, he then kept going by pointing at my sister from the end of the hallway, "I should have charged you for a fucking appointment man... I just hate when people walk in here and act like they know everything when the only have 2 tattoos" my sister is covered in tattoos.... At that point my sister had shut down and was no longer responding. All we tried to do was be nice and get through it, it was so uncomfortable. Overall it was a terrible experience and I really do not recommend coming here. The work is not good enough to have to put up with someone that rude and disrespectful. He just doesn't have to ability to be a decent human being, and doesn't know how to communicate. read more

I have always loved Gash, one of the only places in the area I trust for my tattoos. Most people leaving one star reviews do not know tattoo etiquette. Artists know their worth and if you aren't respectful enough to pay the rate go get it cheaper. Beautiful art performed by an amazing artist will cost. No one works for free. 3-4 years on and all of my pieces are holding up beautifully. read more

This dude is garbage and disrespectful has no clue about customer service and elementary standard for his art work Just a update the owner was not happy with the review I provided so he messaged me calling me a prisoner and that he wanted to perform sexual acts to me great business guy! I just got my first tattoo at this place, and I couldn't be more happy. The artist was very friendly, answered all my questions well, and made the tattoo look exactly how I hoped it would. When I get another tattoo in the future, I'm coming back here! read more
