The harbor area boats several bars and restaurants, of varying type and costs. You can grab a pizza, a burger, or a craft cocktail and a steak all within 10 minute walk (or a super quick car ride). The marina has a pool, hot tub, boaters lounge with grills and a lounge area, as well as air conditioned bathroom and shower facilities. Most of the marina consists of resident boaters, but there are some transient slips, space available.

The park manager told us to leave the chairs, but then charged us a 150.00 clean up fee???? overall probably wont recommend for a wedding venue at all maybe everything else would be ok. Just be careful with all the hidden fees, paid 1700 to rent the space and additional 200 for sec deposit then charged me 213 extra for hidden fees, this happened to another friend of mine, who was charged an additional 500$ after her sec. deposit. Need to explain better what they need, and besides I was a bride I wasn't keeping tabs on what was happening I was focused on my wedding day. Tim O the manager is a nice guy I just don't like the way the facility is run and how they charge people, for this amount of money we could have just gotten a hall.

Trains are usually right on time here, and there's always parking ($8), expect a short wait to enter and exit the parking lot. You should note that if you're trying to connect to AMTRAK from MKE airport, it's too far to walk with luggage and there's no sidewalk most of the way, you'll need to take a shuttle bus. If you are arriving at the airport and want to get to a downtown hotel, take the 80 bus from just outside baggage claim. For traveling back and forth from Chicago, the Hiawatha is the way to go if the schedule works for you. Parking is a little easier here than downtown Milwaukee.
