And I saw Barnes & Noble coming soon... if that's true, heck yeah! I know it's mostly chains, not unique boutique shops and businesses, but there is still enough variety that I have no complaints. The outdoor mall is fairly modern, and the area feels safe. A summer concert series occurs on 4th fridays of the month at The Block Plaza near Koja Kitchen, which was convenient this past weekend cuz I grabbed dinner at Koja Kitchen and was able to enjoy the live music while dining. A few doors down, I picked up a yummy chocolate chip cookie from Crumbl too. However if coming here for the live entertainment, the location's not the best. It gets crowded cuz it's just a small space, with concrete surface, and you gotta bring your own lawn chairs if you want seating. There was a tiny dance floor in front of the stage too, but really nothing inviting about the setup. That said, The Cheeseballs put on a fun show for the crowd, with the band performing funk, soul, and rnb tunes. They played various hits including Whitney Houston's I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Hips Don't Lie by Shakira, You Make My Dreams Come True by Daryl Hall and John Oates, and Chappell Roan's Pink Pony Club mashed up with Katy Perry's Firework. Also, parking and traffic is never really an issue for me in this shopping center except near Costco and In-N-Out.

This really is a great mall! It definitely lives up to its name…read more It's hard to believe this mall has been here for 32 years! The building was a former Ford auto plant, which gave them plenty of room to work with. The mall opened in 1994. It's primarily an outlet mall, but they have lots of other retailers as well. They have a Dick's Sporting Goods, they have a Home Depot across the parking lot , for clothes, they have Marshalls, Kohl's, Burlington, Old Navy and lots of others. They even have a furniture store They have stores ranging from bargain to luxury . They have restaurants ranging from Dave and Buster's, to Burger King to Popeyes to Jollibee, as well as food and snacks in all different. Nationalities. If you can't find something to eat here, you are not hungry. They have a movie theater with 20 screens, other play places, and . They even have a "cattery.". With roughly 200 stores, if you can't find what you are looking for here, you aren't looking hard enough. Of course, the stores do change from time to time. This is what was there when I was there..... The mall is in a giant circle, so it makes it very hard to get lost. Just keep walking, and you will come back to the door that you came in. The place can get busy, especially during the holidays. I was there on a Sunday, with a lot of people there, but again the size made the crowds much more manageable. I'll stop here whenever I'm in the area, to see what's currently going on. Thank you!

If the Stanford shopping centers vision was lifeless store fronts and no one actually shopping then…read morethey achieved it. Owners please take a look around, no one is shopping. An entire year here and I literally see no one buying anything in any of the stores, regardless of the season. It feels very pretentious. Each store, each window has the same exact thing - no color, no life. Each store equally more expensive than the next. I have come to learn that the building owners sought a "vision" and pushed out previous stores here to have what it does now. Each store front pushes mute colors, I walk into a store $600 for the most boring top I have ever seen, and this carries on through each and every store here. Not to mention, a lot of the stores push concerning stereotypes and visions of women's bodies. There's a select few stores I love here, Outerknown (you are awesome) and Aesop, are what keeps me coming back - other than that, it's a sad shopping experience and I actually really enjoy shopping at a lot of malls. Sad, uninspiring. This mall is now pushing sad and concerning shopping and fashion culture. This is unrealistic, false expectation setting. It is deplorable.
