This is my favorite shopping center to go to, because of the atmosphere and that it's in Fremont. This place feels like a paradise due to its nature. Usually the best spots for me to go to are Target, The Habit, Century Theaters, Five Guys, and Panera. There is another Target at Fremont Hub, but I prefer the one here better since it neighbors better stores and restaurants. Stores and restaurants often come and go, but they are always replaced with ones that most people would want to go to. Out of all Fremont shopping centers, I prefer this one better. read more

Some of my regular spots here are The Habit (for their salads and delicious tempura green beans), Halal Guys, Wingstop, Cinemark movie theater (with awesome Charlie Chaplin artwork and posters displayed throughout the lobby and hallways), DSW (they have some pretty decent shoes IMO), and Target (for everyday essentials). And I saw Barnes & Noble coming soon... if that's true, heck yeah! I know it's mostly chains, not unique boutique shops and businesses, but there is still enough variety that I have no complaints. The outdoor mall is fairly modern, and the area feels safe. A summer concert series occurs on 4th fridays of the month at The Block Plaza near Koja Kitchen, which was convenient this past weekend cuz I grabbed dinner at Koja Kitchen and was able to enjoy the live music while dining. A few doors down, I picked up a yummy chocolate chip cookie from Crumbl too. However if coming here for the live entertainment, the location's not the best. It gets crowded cuz it's just a small space, with concrete surface, and you gotta bring your own lawn chairs if you want seating. There was a tiny dance floor in front of the stage too, but really nothing inviting about the setup. That said, The Cheeseballs put on a fun show for the crowd, with the band performing funk, soul, and rnb tunes. They played various hits including Whitney Houston's I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Hips Don't Lie by Shakira, You Make My Dreams Come True by Daryl Hall and John Oates, and Chappell Roan's Pink Pony Club mashed up with Katy Perry's Firework. Also, parking and traffic is never really an issue for me in this shopping center except near Costco and In-N-Out. read more

Parking could be a little hectic, depending on where you're going if you're going to one of the more crowded restaurant areas that's definitely harder to find parking. Pacific Commons Shopping Center has quickly become my favorite shopping center in the San Francisco Bay Area. It has a good balance of shopping and restaurants in this huge shopping center. San Francisco Bay Area has so many shopping malls. Pacific Commons is nicely located in the Fremont area. It has many sections separated by the city streets. I have to drive between the different sections of the shopping center. It is huge. The shopping center has a massive Chinese Dim Sum restaurant and a perfect size AYCE Hot Pot restaurant. Applebees, Five Guys, PF Chang's, In-N-out Burger, Gen Korean BBQ, and many more. They have many stores in this huge shopping center, including Costco, Target, Nordstrom Rack, HomeGoods/TJ Maxx, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Lowes, so many stores I can't even list all of them. You build it, and they will come...... The Pacific Commons Shopping Center is a mega shopping center in the City of Fremont. It's located near the junction of I-880 & Auto Mall Parkway. I remember what used to be here. It was a huge mixed use commercial/ industrial zone. It also borders on what used to be the Fremont Drag strip or Baylands Raceway. I believe originally the developer wanted to attract high tech industry, but the "dotcom" collapse changed their plans to a retail complex with housing. This place is so huge, it has multiple big box anchor stores. It has major chain stores and restaurants. It's an open air shopping center, you just park near where you want to go. It has all the places that would attract a visitor's interest. I came one day simply to visit the 85*C Bakery. But I had to get pass the Costco, and I ended up having a burger at "In-and Out." As a regional shopping center, it's great for the surrounding communities. But it lacks that "hometown" feeling that you can't build. People will want to come here, because it has so much to offer. read more

Pacific Commons is THE place to do shopping in Fremont! It's a nice outdoor mall with many stores & restaurants-- some of my favorites are Target, Sephora, DSW, Kohls, In n Out, Total Wine, & of course the Market Broiler. It's spread out over several outdoor blocks. The main area ("The Block") - like a downtown strip-- looks pretty nice now-- they have many restaurants (the Habit, Fuego Mas, Krispy Kreme). Very walkable and parking in the middle. The landscaping has really improved over the years, and they now have security driving around. Oh yes, there is also a movie theater & Dick's Sporting Goods. And a Buffalo Wild Wings. Fremont is finally fun! Good for families. Sometimes they have seasonal events, like the Easter bunny and Halloween trick or treating for kids. I will commend Fremont for developing this area over the last 5 years or so. Enjoy!! read more

As a Fremont resident, I love having Pacific Commons nearby and continuously growing. It's modern, has a great mix of shopping and dining options and best of all, it's not just a bunch of random shops no one has ever heard of/cares for. Pacific Commons has become *the* Fremont spot for places people actually want to frequent. My one issue here is, as it's become super popular and busy, mass entry into the area is pretty much just Automall expressway. Talk about a cluster... There are some backroads in, but they should be made much more accessible. Bonus feature: Growing number of time-limited-free, electric vehicle chargers available in several of the lots. The Pacific Commons Shopping Center is a sprawling commercial center in Fremont California. I was here to do a Costco run, a wine run, and just sightseeing while here. I was here on Christmas weekend 2021 visiting friends and doing some shopping. First up is Costco here at the commons, then Total Wine on Christmas Eve starring at around 12:30pm, and finally Five Guys on the day after Christmas for a quick and easy dinner option at around 1:30pm. The sprawling Pacific Commons shopping center has a little of everything you need to have it all. From regular grocery shopping to clothing hunting, and even theaters to watch the new releases in your local area. The commons is quite large, with many buildings that needs to be split up with actual roads and traffic lights. It would have been better if it was a large indoor mall instead of a sprawling outdoor mall that's basically split like 2 smaller strip malls that's merged together. Many of the major brands are here that anchor the mall. You can shop here anytime and it would be great. My experience here at the Pacific Commons shopping center was limited, but I know I also was here on Christmas Day 2021 walking around too. It was raining that morning but it was nice to do loops around the Pacific Commons to get in some exercise when I needed it on the holiday. Best bet is to come here early enough to secure your own parking and shop to you drop! The overall experience here at the Pacific Commons shopping Center was quite nice, busy, therapeutic, and interesting. It was neat to see lines of cars heading into the Costco gasoline station. It feels like that happens anywhere that Costco has a gas station. It reminds me of Honolulu is one of them. When we were done with our shopping, my friend entered the Costco gasoline line and waited for about 20 minutes before we got a chance at the gas pump. It was an interesting deal, but it was Christmas Eve and everybody was wanting to get everywhere really fast and things just got a little crazy. But for the rest of the year, you can expect random casual stuff happening at the Pacific Commons shopping Center on any random day. From my experience here at the Commons though, it was nice to be able to shop here and explore each of the stores and restaurants in the complex before making an informed decision on where to go and what to eat. Only thing is that it is a large complex, so you would basically need to drive around and secure parking close by. You can always walk it but most people tend to drive anyway. The shopping center is pretty much the center of Fremont California Innoway, because it basically has everything you need on a daily basis. Definitely recommend if you are staying in the area and need entertainment or food or whatever you need. They have a roving security team that is mobile also. I found that out when I was walking around Christmas day in the Pacific Commons shopping center. I didn't do anything wrong walking around on Christmas Day but it's just it's nice to know that it's being secured and monitored. The Pacific Commons Shopping Center here in Fremont California Is located at 43440 Boscell Road in Fremont. Right off the i-880 and basically one stop shop for all your daily shopping needs. Many if not all merchants here accept major credit cards. Credit cards are preferred but cash is always accepted. In the pandemic Covid-19 age, customers are required to wear face masks on property and when entering establishments. As far as parking goes, best bet would be to come here early enough to secure your spot. The Pacific Commons shopping center offers a generous offering of parking options to choose from. You can actually lap the entire shopping mall property, which I did, and it's about 3.1 miles around. It's a big mall, larger than some that I've been to in the past. While most Californians drive, you can get here thru public transportation as well. Take the routes that is most convenient for you to get to Fremont and the pacific commons shopping center. The weather was nice and cool in the low 50's F while I was here, although I got rained on Christmas Day morning. It is what it is. As I get older, I find myself becoming a mall rat. I just want to go to shop where there's a lot of stores that I know. My field trip to Fremont and Pacific Commons was an eye opener. A native of the Bay Area, Fremont was always the the suburbia Hub. It's still a suburban oasis, but an upscale place to shop. All of my basics are here. Ultra, Men's Warehouse, Target, The Rack, and tons of rapid food restaurants. Halal Guys, The Kabob Shop, and my new favorite, Rangoli. New to me are Dick's and Kohl's. Lost just a star. I've driven by Pacific Commons Shopping Center while traversing 880 and while bringing my car in for service on nearby auto row on Cushing Parkway. I finally had an opportunity to visit the Pacific Commons to pick up an online order at Total Wines. The center is easily accessible off Auto Mall Parkway. It is a large center with Costco, Target, Lowe's and Kohl's as its main anchors with other large stores including Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy, DSW, Dick's Sporting Goods, TJ Maxx, Home Goods and Total Wines. Some popular dining choices include 85 Degrees, Claim Jumper, Five Guys, Gen, In-N-Out, KoJa, Habit, and Panera. I enjoy coming here mostly due to the fact that it's close to my home and has a good amount of stores and restaurants to go to. The only thing I would change like others said is to have the stores and places closer together to make it more walkable. You have to kind of remember how to get from one place to another and walk there. They're all within close proximity, but it's still inconvenient. Although over the years I have gotten more used to the layout, it's still not ideal for me. Sometimes I just don't feel safe coming here because of the amount of traffic and cars you kind of have to watch for. In the future, I would like to see a nail place here. read more

If you're looking to have a date night, there is also a clean and fairly new movie theater, located near Dick's Sporting Goods. Plus many of the restaurants have full bars! It's easy access right off 880 and there's usually enough parking except in the busiest shopping days. If I can give zer0 stars, I would. I have never had a problem inviting my friends here to get food or hangout. We rarely come here to shop because it's too busy to shop. And Costco parking is a nightmare. So if we can't go shopping, we go eat. There's boba, burgers, spam musubi, sushi and loads more. We mainly go towards eating at places with more parking so we can go park together and eat together. But today is probably the last time I'll ever go here to eat with friends. Before my boyfriend and I got into the plaza, there was a Fremont Police SUV facing the street with no cop in it. That's weird, but I guess he might be walking around the plaza or something. Didn't think anything of it. Found some parking and parked and saw a cop pulling over a friend from the distance. My friends and I were going to Five Guys. But before my boyfriend and I parked, two other friends got there before us next to three other of our other friends, across from each other. Cops pulled over one friend and harassed another friend barely getting out of his car to get into the restaurant. Before it seems I'm going off on a tangent, it's important to know why this complaint and one star is not for the police. It is legit for Pacific Commons. (But the cops were being rude to a lot of my friends). As they were checking out one of my friends car, another cop turns to my friend getting out of his car that just parked, saying "you can't be here." Friend: "I just got here, I'm going to go to Five Guys with my friends" Cop: "well you do that and you come back you might return to a ticket on your car" Friend: "what?!" Pay attention to this: Cop: "Pacific Commons doesn't want you here" My friend left when the cops were done with my other friend. Second person getting pulled over. Was also told by a different cop that "Pacific Commons doesn't want you here." Third and Fourth person, a couple. Pulled over but let my female friend leave without a problem. But almost towed her boyfriends Lotus Elise car, because the cops thought it was illegal in the states. It's a Lotus Elise....... Female friend: "I'm just here for food and friends" Cop: "Ok well you eat your food and leave when your done right away" Her boyfriend: "This car is legal here, I bought it in California" After sometime, the cops realize that his right, but it didn't matter. Cop: "Pacific Commons doesn't want you here" So does Pacific Commons just sends cops to harass everyone? This was ridiculous, we are paying customers. Some of my friends ended up at Ohana shop instead of Five Guys because, 1 we are hungry and came to eat, 2 didn't want to get harassed by cops. Few of my friends that didn't get harassed brought their five guys to Ohana, I felt bad and bought some stuff from there, they were nice enough for letting us bring outside food in so we can eat with our other friends. As I went up to the counter, the cashier said if we are hiding out. ??? He pointed out to the cop next to our cars waiting for us to finish eating from Ohana. Wow what the fuck. He then explains to me that the cops have been in the parking lot harassing customers on behalf of Pacific Commons, even himself and he works there. This is the last time I come here. read more

Probably the biggest shopping center in Fremont? Sure, there is NewPark Mall nearby, but it doesn't quite have the same shopping power that Pacific Commons has. Tons of places to eat, shop, and have a good time. It's a bit annoying as you have to drive around to get from point A to Point B (or walk awhile), but it's worth it at the end of the day. There is a ton of selection here and the atmosphere is great. A great addition to Fremont, so give it a shot if you're a Fremont fan. read more

I live in Union City and we have Union Landing which is the same concept as Pacific Commons, but unlike Union Landing, Pacific Commons has a lot more stores that I actually want to shop at which to name a few are Old Navy, DSW, (a huge) Target, Nordtrom Rack, Costco, Ulta, Homegoods/TJ Maxx and Sephora. The only stores I mainly visit in Union Landing are just Wal-Mart, Smart & Final and Michael's. And don't even get me started on the overwhelming selection of places to eat! Some of the ones that I've been to are 85 Degrees, Doghaus, Kinders, Habit, Five Guys, and Blaze Pizza and I still have so many more interesting places that I need to try. I can see the drawback of not having to be able to park at one spot and check out all the shops by just walking from one store to another but the main reason for this is that most of these stores are pretty large in order to offer a huge selection of merchandise. It's best to avoid shopping here when it's very windy or pouring rain as you do have to drive from one store to another depending on where you are going. I really like coming here to shop and eat just because they offer more selection. As with other places, parking can be scarce especially on weekends as there are a lot of people that patronize the stores here. I like how everything looks so modern and new and you can tell that they really keep up with making sure that the whole place is clean, updated and presentable. With the holidays around the corner, I noticed how they put lights all around the trunk of the trees. It looks so festive and because the lights are mainly white, I think they should just leave it on all year round. It just makes the place shine even brighter. read more

This place could have been soooo much better. When it broke ground a few years back, I was elated, thinking they would construct something like the Irvine Spectrum, an enclosed, outdoor, mega-entertainment center complete with bars, movie theaters, and high class restaurants. Imagine my disappointment when I found out all we got was cheapie, big box retailers such as Old Navy, DSW, Circuit City, and worst of all, Costco! To it all off, the stores are more spread out than Tera Patrick! It's not pedestrian friendly at all. This is suburban sprawl at its worst! Hopefully that new A's stadium will bring forth some better development around here. For the time being, the only saving grace is that it at least looks like So-Cal with all the palm trees. *edit* 12/31 Extra one star. Wow, I rolled by here last night, and it's expanding like crazy. They just keep building more and more stuff. My highlight would have to be the Chinese mall in the back. Hopefully, more fine dining and a new hangout spot will materialize. read more

Shopping is not really my thing. Okay I lie. It's one of my things when it's online, but definitely not in person shopping. I always find shopping for a specific item very tiring when going to malls. It's when you need that one item, but can't find it and it takes the whole day to find it and for a great price. I've seen that malls these days have moved to more of these outdoor style malls. No roof over your head to go from one store to another. I kind of miss those and we still have them, but...oh well. Pacific Commons has a lot of stores from Nordstrom Rack, DSW to Old Navy. As well as some good restaurants like Market Broiler and Five Guys. Not to mention Coldstone Creamery :) Oh and wait a Costco and plenty of Asian restaurants for your pleasure. I can get a boba, ice cream, burger and fries, and end with a smoothie. It keeps expanding which is great. Target appeared and a new spanking movie theater. If you're tired of shopping for mere trinkets, you can go right next door to the Auto Mall and test drive a car. Modern but sort of sterile outdoor shopping center with all the trendy places you expect. I'm not the biggest fan of this place. I'm used to shopping in Alameda or in other places where there are unique, small family owned places. Well, your not gonna find any of that here. Big businesses and chains take away a lot of the character. Parking is generous. Very clean... as I said above sterile. Just not very interesting. Its the same Chick Fil A that you've been to in a bunch of other cities. All the popular stores. So I think you will probably like this place more than me. Maybe I'm just a stick in the mud. They layout however is great. Outdoor malls are popular for a good reason. No long indoor hallways that force these long walks in a maze. Here you just drive right up to the store or restaurant that you want to go to and your done. Its a one stop shop. Everything you could ever want is here in one convenient place. Be sure and hit up a flea market to offset all these big businesses and to make yourself a more interesting person. read more

There is Bayfair... Which has Target and Macys (Empty as heck too!) ... And then there is this.. Well Target is there but not Macy's? The difference? There is enough shopping to be done here and plenty of places to eat. Very easy access when you get off of Auto Mall Parkway and then look around. Something for everyone. And then there is something called The Block which is inside the area. Has many great places for eating. Not a mall by any means but not empty as BayFair and is a great alternative to it. Movies, Home Improvement, Pizza, Shoe Shopping, Krispy Kreme, I think one can fall in heaven here coming in every weekend. Or enjoy themselves with friends or family. Theater is decent, not bad at all as we went to one movie. Has the luxury loungers and a bar - the standard high end for many Century Theater brands. Can't speak for a majority of the locations but the parking was hard to find at certain times when we went. So this shopping complex is busy all the time and you should go there yourself and find out why. The reason why this shopping area ONLY get 3 STARS. Because they don't have good restaurants. I drove by today there. Saw Blaze pizza has nice outdoor seating area, and Habit burger (also has outdoor seating area). This ALMOST look like those upscale fancy shopping (Strip mall ) in south-california, like Orange county. But I start laughing. There is no good restaurants like YARDHOUSE Cheesecake factory(this is not even UPSCALE restaurant). This Pacific common/The-BLOCK only has 1) which-which sandwich 2) Habit 3) 5 guys burger 4) inn-and-out-burger 5) Kabob shop ... 6) Buffalo wing(low end restaurants) and other... And then the SHOPPING is not that cool either, has Lady-Byrant (this is not even HIP shop) like H&M. When you get into Pac Com, you will feel that you go into the black hole. The internet signal is so weak unless you connect to the restaurants' WiFi, otherwise you can't go online at all. Ahh Pacific Commons is such a disappointment. I expected something classy, less corporate America. And if they were going to take that route, at least they could have given us Target instead of Kohl's. And Old Navy?! Come on. I suppose it's a convenient place for people to grab a bite during lunch hour though. Stores: Old Navy Circuit City Party America Staples Joann's DSW Kohl's Lowe's Costco Food: PF Chang's Claim Jumper Rubio's Tapioca Express Ohana Hawaiian BBQ Panera Bread Starbucks Premiere Pizza Coldstone Jamba Juice In-n-Out The only places I really frequent here are Costco and Panera Bread. (Bonus points for Costco.) Honestly I prefer Union Landing at this point. I haven't been in awhile, so hopefully this international project that's going down has some good stuff. If a movie theater crops up too - I'll be all the more forgiving. :) read more

Coming from Union City with our shitty Union Landing, I'm jealous of all Fremont natives who get to come here on the regular. When it comes to outdoor shopping centres, you can pretty much take your pick in California but Pacific Commons is one of my favourites that I've been to. ~ Atmosphere: It's relatively new, so it's very clean and "California modern". It's very large as well with ample parking space (we've never really had a problem when it comes to finding parking before). With a bunch of restaurants and shops as well, Pacific Commons is really an awesome place to hang out! ~ Variety: There's enough here to support a nice day out with family or friends. Some great restaurants (can I recommend Little Hotpot?) whether you like Asian OR Western food, mega-stores for shopping such as Costco and Target, a small handful of clothing stores, and even a movie theatre to pair with that delicious meal you'll find here. Because I just can't understate the variety and quality of the restaurants enough. read more

It's nice when i'm waiting for my car to be serviced, but the online information is too hard to find. I wanted a list of stores before driving over. Couldn't find one! As a result, I'll pass. I'm not going to a place that I can't plan my stops before I burn gas. Either their web site sucks, or I just can't seem to find one that's comprehensive. Oy! read more
