When they were using the name Bottoms Up Scuba they opened an Indianapolis location which is where I became a student. They gladly took our payment for training and certification and suddenly closed the Indianapolis location and fled to Florida with several students money and failed to provide us with the training and certification we paid for. I regret shopping around for the best prices on Scuba training. You really do get what you pay for.

There were cold drinks (water and soda) on the boat and cookies were passed around between the 2 dives, though my husband and I would have preferred fresh fruit. Russ was the helper on-board today, great guy who grew up here and going to school in TN right now and working here during the Summer, very helpful and made it easy for us when we were queasy from the boat rocking :). The shop is fully outfitted with gear and equipment and shark's teeth in case you want to buy them and tell friends at home that you scoured the bottom of the ocean for it :). Staffed by very experienced knowledgeable and helpful people it offers equipment sales, service, rentals and dive trips. I had a great time with them diving and strongly recommend them. It's an especially rare treat to have no rushing going on. As most dives are shallow, 90 min a tank is normal for most divers and their two tank trip gives you 2 x 90 min on the shallow stuff. Where else can you get that? Virtually all dive boats rush divers into less than 45 minutes. I rented gear for shore dives, did a dive boat trip and bought some minor gear. Loved it and will be back.

There was no clear or visible parking guidance where I parked in front of their location at 100 Circuit Rd. The only sign on the building directs customers to a side gate and says nothing about parking restrictions or towing. I also received no verbal instructions about parking when I made the reservation over the phone. At no point was I warned that parking in that area could result in my vehicle being towed. After my vehicle was towed, the company claimed there was signage elsewhere on the property, but it was not visible from where I parked and would not reasonably be seen by a customer arriving at their storefront. Instead of taking responsibility, they immediately shifted blame to the marina and towing company. At no point did they acknowledge that their lack of clear, visible parking instructions--both over the phone and on-site--directly contributed to the situation. Separately, the overall process felt rushed. I fortunately have prior experience riding wave runners, but if I hadn't, the lack of meaningful instruction and the speed at which paperwork was handled would have been concerning from a safety standpoint. To make matters worse, I was initially denied access to retrieve personal belongings from my vehicle and had to deal with the situation in extreme heat (around a 107°F heat index) with my two young children present. This was entirely avoidable. The lack of clear direction, combined with how this situation was handled afterward, is a serious red flag.

In addition, there was an array of birds including osprey on the nest, eagles, pelicans, ibis, cormorants etc. We even saw a few turtles. I wanted to follow up with you to provide some feedback on our sunset tour that we did through your…read morecompany on July 31, 2025. This was scheduled for 6 pm - 8 pm. Prior to departure the tour guide assured me and my 18-year-old daughter that we would be back before dark as it was illegal to ride wave runners after dark. We selected the Sunset Tour option with this understanding as it was the first time I had ever rode a wave runner and neither myself or my daughter have ever rode one in the gulf which is quite different from a lake experience where we live. The tour guide was very nice and explained how to operate the wave runner to me and did a great job accommodating my daughter and myself during the tour. However, on the way back we were in complete darkness and could not even see the signs to tell us the information needed for no wake zones etc... The tour guide had to pull out his phone to see what the signs would say and I felt we were in a very dangerous situation. We did not get back to the dock until 9:20 pm - this was over an hour later than scheduled. It was a very scary experience and I had asked the tour guide how many sunset tours he had done and he said that this was his first one. I believe he was around 19-20 years old which was not an issue except for I would question what type of training he has had on time management as this experience could have resulted in an incident due to the risks of driving these wave runners in complete darkness.

All of our gear was set up for us so all we had to do was slip on our BCDs and we were ready to go. The boat was so cool and by far the most comfortable adventure boat I've been on and I've been on many over the years. He didn't take us to all the same sites that the other charters go to- he took us to places he scouted out himself. He is truly passionate about it which shows and is so helpful in finding good stuff. I am not very strong in navigating so Dustyn was kind enough to lead me down to a good spot. Plus, he never got mad when I surfaced crazy far away from the boat . I've told everyone I've been in contact with how amazing my experience was. I really can't recommend it enough.
