After seeing other reviews, I made an appointment with Dr. Karlovsky and I made a wonderful choice! He is very compassionate, offers patients choices and is down to earth about the diagnosis. While there's nothing easy about oral surgery, Karlovsky was reassuring, patient with me during my molar removal and understood my concerns about the procedure. His staff is lovely and supportive, as they were in the room with me in case I became sick during the procedure. I will definitely stay with him for years to come if I need more teeth removed, as I know he will make the experience the most bearable as he possibly can.

I was told to just leave it.As a result, the tooth was left untreated, and I continue to have it today. Recently, a friend went in for an infected wisdom tooth and was given the exact same explanation. Meanwhile an another oral surgeon removed her tooth in less than 2 minutes without an issue. At this point, it feels like either Dr. Lam avoids doing these procedures due to insurance reasons or she is incapable of.doing it. I'd strongly recommend getting a second opinion elsewhere.

He provides an excellent treatment for various dental problems. Unlike other dentists I had over many years Dr. Tkachuk thinks out of the box and hence can solve problems that otherwise would have no solution at all. Example: I've had a problem with very painful sensitivity to sweet, sour, and cold due to high bone loss on teeth necks. While other dentist couldn't do anything about it and just recommended Sensodyne toothpaste, Dr. Tkachuk came up with an idea of putting small filling on each front tooth neck and that solved a 20y+ old problem! That was absolutely amazing! Olga Gorokhovskiy, the dental hygienist attending in the office, is also amazing. She provided the most painless deep dental cleansing (scaling) I ever had. Thank you! The office itself is exemplary! It's super-clean, neat, and most importantly the maximum wait time we had so far was 5 min! On almost all visits we get admitted exactly at the time of the appointment. This is unbelievable! The first couple of days I was a hot mess, but here I am, zero pain, the expected bruises are all but gone and my mouth is back to its new normal. Dr. Hoffman is a wonderful doctor - he took the time to speak to me before the surgery and explained what he was going to happen that day. He put the IV in me and the next thing I knew, I was waking up. Every single person in that office is better than the one before! We took our mother to see Dr Hoffman couple of months ago because she was having difficulty eating due to teeth problems and old dentures. At this point she was barely able to eat anything and couldn't walk and had to be in a wheelchair. He treated her as a person not just a dollar sign and cared enough to ask her what was going on. Long story short turned out she had cancer and passed end of October. The receptionist (which Im sorry i do not remember because I was in so much pain) They went over and beyond to contact my dentist . Dr Novo is sharp and knows his profession. He said the pain was not from a Dental implant but great big cavity in my back tooth . It was best to remove it and I was scared, I didn't feel a thing! it was the best dentist visit I ever had. He is a great oral surgeon and I will keep him forever!!
