Great, friendly service; fantastic cosy atmosphere. Food is great! I had the boiled beef and it was delicious.

Weiner schnitzel, and liver and onions. Salmon appetizer outstanding. Liver exceptional.

Came here with a friend who lives here for lunch. We shared the salmon appetizer. Outstanding. The best salmon in my life!!!!! My friend had the calves liver with onions, and I had the Weiner Schnitzel. His liver and onions were the most tender and flavorful I have ever had! A revelation. My weiner schnitzel was excellent with cranberries. Excellent service, menu in English. Good prices. Highly recommended.

    The restaurant garden.

Another nice restaurant in Vienna. They have a cute "garden" area across the street. Service was very friendly & they were happy to explain anything in the menu. The food was very good. I had the SalmonTrout. Tastes like Char. It was very well prepared. My husband had the Austrian specialty, Wiener schnitzel, which he said was excellent & very tender. Apricot dumplings for dessert topped off the night so we could roll back to the hotel.

Went to this place on a recommendation from a local, lots of locals dinning here for lunch at the time, and wasn't disappointed. We went for lunch by I felt it was probably more of a dinner location. Menu is not massive but the food quality is excellent. Schnitzel was one of the best I've had in Vienna in terms of flavour and tenderness but you pay a little extra for the quality but overall good value. Service was good and very quick. Lunch 2 schnitzel and sparkling water €45

    Nice outside space.

EXPENSIVE is the first work i would like to describe this place. It was nice there and the food was ok, but NOT worth the amount they charge for basic things. There is nothing special about this place in my opinion, however the outside seating is great and the food is good, but not outstanding. .

I sat on the patio, which was nice and service was good. Had the Tafelspitz ("boiled beef"), which was a first, and it was good.

Big plates, good prices. They have menus in different languages. It seems like a place frequented by locals too.

This place was packed…read morewhen we arrived, as expected since it is one of the most well-known schnitzel spots in Vienna. I was worried this place was over-hyped and more of a place you have to "check off the list" than somewhere you want to eat because of the food. If you have any doubts like I did, forget about them because this was actually the best schnitzel we had on our trip! Their potato salad and tomato salads, also amazing! I love that they had option for their schnitzel - the chicken and original were our favorites! Definitely check this spot out when in Vienna - you won't be disappointed!

I had a reservation at 11:30am and there was already an insane line just to get in. Then once they opened the doors other groups of people completely ignore the line outside and just start rushing in. They're in absolutely no rush to seat you so don't have any hope that they'll let you in early. Once you're seated the service is pretty fast. The schnitzel is quite large and good for sharing. I had the original schnitzel with pork. It was thin and crispy but under seasoned in my opinion. The potato salad was the star for me I could have had one all to myself. It was creamy, a little sweet, and tangy. I also tried the soup with clear beef broth and sliced pancakes. Nothing memorable but a nice clean soup if you're in the mood.

The place was huge inside, bigger than expected from the outside. It was packed with people in a good way and the decor was tasteful and inviting. The wait staff were really friendly and attentive and visited just often enough to make sure we had what we needed. The food was great, and the classic schnitzel was massive but thin enough that it didn't feel overwhelming to eat. I paired it with the potato salad that included greens and both were excellent. If you're getting the schnitzel I suggest the longenberry preserve because the schnitzel itself is on the blander side.

We were seated right away. The inside js a lot more spacious than it looks from outside. As we had dinner in a few hours, we got the pork schnitzel to share with lingoberry sauce, field greens, and grape juice. The schnitzel was lovely- nice thin good meat and crispy breading. It was HUGE! I have never had this vegetable before but it was delicious and the dressing was excellent. I also really enjoyed their grape juice. The staff were very nice and service was quick. This is not a dish I would want to eat every day but I enjoyed the meal.
