Was extremely, positively surprised at the variety of equipment; even includes top of the line rowing machines. My personal workout has been developed and tweaked for years. As a result it is extremely particular. Axis had everything required for my workout, which is extremely rare, to include the pull-up assist machine (often only found in large Chains and rehab facilities) and 2.5 pound interval dumb bells! Another surprise us how all existing clients are extremely fit. DID NOT SEE ONE out of shape client (except yours truly; of course!) Obviously a testimony to the Axis skill sets which include ingrained positive habit patterns, advanced trainer experience levels, and results oriented training plans. Admittedly the existing high fitness levels of all clientele can sometimes intimidate prospective new clients, but all staff employ the traditional warm southern charm and demeanor one expects only from a family exclusive to the South. Sam, Isiah and Alexis have developed a healthy fitness experience rivaled by every other fitness alternative on the market today. Gyms of this quality are normally only found in larger venues.

Chris, who I think owns the place, is the greeter, workout leader, spotter, trainer, and all-around jack-of-all-trades with a totally upbeat, helpful approach. It's kind of like the Cheers bar in that everybody seems to know everybody, but even a visitor like me was welcomed. Another good point is that you can get a decent daily/weekly rate if you're just in town for a short stay.

I'm not the most outgoing person--I usually like to walk in, get my workout done, and head home. But there is something truly special about this community. The conversations felt effortless, everyone was incredibly genuine, and I found myself feeling comfortable almost immediately. It's hard to put into words, but if you try a class, you'll understand. No matter which class you choose, you'll be welcomed like you've been part of the community all along. What impressed me just as much was the variety of classes. I had the chance to experience CrossFit, Reignite Burn, and the Bodybuilding class, and I genuinely loved every one of them. Each offered something different while maintaining the same encouraging atmosphere and quality coaching. Thank you for making my vacation week so memorable. I left stronger than when I arrived, but more importantly, I left feeling like I had found a community away from home.

Amplifly has changed my life!!…read more I've always enjoyed working out- but I think I could almost say I LOVE working out now. I never thought I would enjoy getting in exercise for the day as much as I have at Amplifly. I gave this gym a go one January day that I had off from work just to see if I liked it. I loved it so much that I continued purchasing packs of classes to come back. I live in Sneads Ferry which is about 35 minutes from this gym, I enjoy coming here so much that I'm willing to drive that time just to come here. They offer classes of all types and all experience levels are welcomed in each. I personally have only been to the spin classes, but I love them so much that I haven't tried anything else. Some of my favorite spin instructors here are CJ, Alisha, and Ali- she's the owner! The studio is spacious & offers spaces large enough for all their classes. The music is always bumping & the instructors are experienced to help out gym goers of any experience level. What I love most about this gym is that you aren't just another member. The instructors & other gym goers take the time to learn your name, and get to know you- it's like you're a member of a family. The instructors take time to get to know you & learn your goals and encourage you every step of the way. There's always some type of challenge or special going on month to month, and they encourage you to bring friends to show them what it's all about. They offer classes for children, and child care at certain days & times throughout the week for all those busy grownups that still want to prioritize their health. There are plenty of clean bathrooms available here which offer showers & almost any type of item that you could need or forgot for the gym might be found here. The staff & instructors here really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I'm so glad that I discovered Amplifly, I only wish I found it sooner!

To give more in depth details: -Loud Music, usually high-tempo dance/EDM music or remixes of popular songs -Very interactive with the instructor, there are often dance-like moves incorporated -Lighting varies throughout the class. Typically a dark room with DJ-like flashing lights. Lighting adjusts with song/tempo. -Room is kept fairly cool (Oh and on Fridays they end class with free Truleys & Beer )

From the first moment I walked through the door, they have both been nothing less than the 5 stars that I have given them. The workouts are challenging and tailored to your current level of fitness. The equipment and facility are new and well maintained. You won't find the muscle head egos in this gym . What you will find in the established clients is a friendly group that is both welcoming and supportive to newcomers . They are a solid group of fitness minded individuals. If I give 5 stars, I typically do so because there is something that stands out about the service or product. Today while working out in Brandon's 9:00 class, a new person came in late to get the free trial workout. Even though there was no class scheduled at 10:00, Brandon worked out with the prospective member at 10:00 solo. If this isn't customer service I don't know what is! If you are in the market for a Great Box, this should most definitely be on the top of your list!
