They also replaced a bad bearing, and noticed, after they had matched my existing spring and put in the exact replacement, that the previous installer had used the wrong spring! So they calculated the exact spring I needed, and took out the new one they had just put in and put in a new one of the correct size. They also lubricated both the single door, and also my double garage door right next to it, so they are all operating quietly and efficiently now. They were on time, also, friendly, efficient, and really cared about doing the job right, which seems to be so rare today! Thanks guys, I will be using you for any future garage work!

Day after Thanksgiving---Black Friday---the cable on our garage door snapped. The garage door would…read morenot shut, stuck open, on BLACK FRIDAY. Ugh. I called Precision Door (Overhead Door Company), which had over four stars. They're listed as 24/7, and their phone answering machine says they're open on Fridays. Well, evidently Black Friday is not included, which I can understand. Their rates are quoted on their phone machine,stating an "emergency call" will be a minimum of $290 CASH ONLY, plus materials. Soooo . . . why cash only, if you're a reputable business? I mean, are you planning to cheat the government out of taxes? I'm betting those "emergency repair" tickets disappear on weekend. But I have no proof, so let's let that pass. I had to leave a message. When I had no callback after 30 minutes, I called another service, Quality Garage Doors in Daytona, to get no answer at all. Fortunately, J's Overhead Door Service answered on the second ring, and a nice lady assured me Jason (J's) Tindall would be at house before noon. He arrived around 11:15 a.m., repaired the door within 30 minutes, and charged us $75! Oh, and he happily accepted our personal check. Now THIS, folks, is five-star service, and I feel really good about using and supporting a small business, locally and family-owned, and sharing my wonderful experience with you.
