In the late 1970's, there was a strike involving beer transport drivers. When I came in one day to pick up supplies for the weekend, Fred's Uncle (Val) informed me that the strike was settled and I'd probably have to pay a little more the following week. When I paid the same price as before, I questioned Val and he responded that he was still working on old stock. This attitude plus the fact that the current owners (Fred & Val) are the greatest makes it easy for me to pass by several other retailers enroute to their establishment.
