There isn't a lot of information readily available, which would be a big help for first time-users, but if you know you're coming here, you can get all that online. There's only one MAX card machine here, but perhaps you only need one given how easy it can be to pay using a smartphone app or a credit card with a tap option. It would also be nice to know how many minutes the current train will be there before departing by a sign somewhere, but navigation services on apps can also give you that information.

Traffic flow was smooth, and signage was excellent. Sidewalks were in great shape, and lighting "fixtures" were newer and added a bit of pzazz all around. I felt safe walking around in terms crossing from one side to the other. If you need to leave your car parked while you hop the bus, I think that's fine, but I suspect the earlier you arrive, the easier it will be. I did have questions about the bus lines going to and from downtown, and my questions were answered by a well-informed and friendly driver, but then I'm partial to TriMet drivers as my brother is one. There is a break room and bathroom for drivers, and being related to a driver I know how important these are. Next time I work over this way, I will look forward to using this transit center again.

They eliminate the stresses of the airport parking. I am never scared for myself or for my car. I know my car and I are in good hands the minute I arrive and until the minute I leave. The attendant at the gate is always so cheerful and helpful, so is the shuttle bus driver no matter what time of the day. Their shuttle bus is fast and so roomy and comfortable. You are dropped off or picked up right outside the airport doors. They always have deals on Groupon. I highly recommend them especially if you are a woman traveling alone!

From the steam train all decked out for the season to the hot chocolate, candy canes, bells, elves, trees and yes...the big man himself even joined in the holiday fun! The train ride went a smidge past Oaks park. Enough for a good taste of the Christmas spirit but not too far to wear out the kiddos. Loved every second! Even after the ride, the fun continued. A dedicated space to write letters to Santa (and yes, he did write back!!! My little one loved getting his letter), hot cocoa/coffee booth (they hand decorated each cup!). I'll be back every year. I appreciate their dedication and warmth to all ages.
